I’m not against anyone reporting their friends for whatever reason they deem fit. But be honest about it, give them fair warning. Otherwise you are being deceitful and don’t deserve friends.

Reporting your friends is a low blow that you shoudnt no… MUSTNT do course if everyone starts to report even his/her friends we are turning in a situation where nobody can trust anyone anymore (welcome udssr Stasi). Thats the reason why you can always say in court that you DONT want to say anything.

I would argue that if you’re willing to cheat, and put your friends in the potential crosshairs as well, they weren’t much of a friend to begin with either.
If I let it slide, only to be banned for playing with a cheater, that would be on me for not doing something about it. Do I think he should have confronted them? Personally, I do. Some people don’t want the confrontation and such, and I can understand that though. As I originally pointed out, the person who is in the wrong regardless is the gold buying cheat.

I personally stopped taking gold or items from them since I reported them, and I still play with them daily but I maintain a little distance.
If you were a GOOD friend, you wouldn’t put other people in that spot.

They CAN do something about it. They are simply too lazy to do so. If they actually took action on the thousands of reports they receive in a timely manor it would eventually become unprofitable for people to operate RMT sites. They slow walk looking into bot and RMT reports. A botter knows his bots can go weeks without ever being dealt with if it’s even dealt with at all. Don’t be gullible. The only reason they exist here and in any game is because developers don’t give a shit…PERIOD
