My gear is gone

• What is your character name in New World: Gilbert McDingle
• What server/world did you experience your issue on: Eridu
• Describe the issue you are experiencing: After a long day of questing and doing the new content I load into a dungeon and go to equip my tanking setup only to realise my sword (a 625 Infernus) is missing from my inventory, this sword was locked so I couldn’t have salvaged it and I don’t remember putting it in storage but I’ve done a lot today so I thought maybe I’d put it away and forgot about it so I scrounge together a setup to tank with from other gear I have on me and complete the dungeon. once we finished in the dungeon I decide to look through my storages to see where it ended up, I was unable to find it and after discussing it with a company member I exit to the main menu and log back in to see if that would help but no luck, I then tried fully closing the game and launching it again a short while later but still nothing.
• Is this a bug?: I fully believe this is a bug because it was locked and there’s almost no chance I dropped it (if I did somehow drop it, which again I do not remember doing so and wasn’t ever in a situation to, why are you even allowed to drop locked items?)
• (if a bug) How did the issue affect your gameplay: I lost a somewhat rare item I spent hours of my time acquiring and upgrading
• (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: So far no luck
• (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced: I feel providing a picture of my empty inventory would not achieve a lot
