Yeah itâs unclear. I know some are considering tieing for 10th to get another person or even more into the top 10. I think game theory prevents a whole server doing it haha, but I wonder how thatâs going to be handled.
Best case scenario is they give top 10 including ties. Worst case scenarios include one that you mentioned which is to give only 1 reward per rank, I think this is highly unlikely and you could easily report that and have it fixed by customer service retroactively. No reason they wouldnât fix this. Another issue is that they may only give 10 rewards so if you have 5 people tied for 10th, maybe it just gives one based on alphabetical or something. I imagine they would honor this as well if it was bugged. Either way I wouldnât worry too much about it? I imagine they would fix it, it just might be a big hassle unfortunately.
Hi there! I asked the team for further clarification on this topic and hereâs their response:
If players are tied for first place on a Leaderboard, theyâll both get the best reward provided they are both still tied when the Leaderboardâs final scores are tallied. If other players pass them before that happens or they are no longer tied then rewards are given out as usual.
I feel silly clarifying this because I think this can be assumed from your response, but letâs say itâs at the other end of the leaderboards. At the bottom.
If you have 5 players tied for 10th. Would they all receive the top 10 reward? In this situation 14 players would receive top 10 rewards?
We actually will have a situation where two people will tie for 10th on our boards. They are wonderful people and donât want them to get screwed over on accident.
Just to clarify things, Im asking, if both people will get the same rewards on the leaderboards, when they are placed on place 10 ? So there would be a âtop 11â ? Because thats kinda different from the answer above.
Just for your info: Leaderboards have been extended to coincide with the start of the new season. As the season patch is delayed so is the leaderboard end date. ARGHHHHH!
it doesnt matter you both top 1, you get the reward cause technically you taking #1 and #2 slot, if you notice in your picture there is no #2, it happened to us as wall
After three (soon to be four?) rug-pulls in a row and refusing to end the quarter in a timely fashion, they really should consider compensating the players that are/were currently placed on said leaderboards.
LOUDER FOR THE DEVS PLEASE. This simple solution would put SO MANY playersâ minds at ease and allow them to do other things in game they may have fallen behind on!
so I believe that also counts for players who end up on rank 10 with the same âvalueâ of whatever board theyre in lets say influence points, then people who are tied to the same rank 10 points are also receiving the top10 rewards, correct?
Hi all, I circled back around with the team on this and hopefully this will add some clarity and answer your questions thus far:
If youâre in a tied position on the leaderboard, you are tied for that position. No one will be bumped or moved up or down in ranking when it comes to rewards on tied positions.
You will get all rewards associated with that position youâre tied for so long as your ranking doesnât change. This is true for everyone who is in the tied position.
