My opinion on mounts

I notice we still don't have mounts, is this planned in the future? 
My question stems from playing a few hours today and notice there are not many people on the road, kind of barren right now.  Undoubtedly a side effect of fast travel, I mean it is supposed to be an MMo after all. I would love to see mounts in game and fast travel deleted, it's really unrealistic anyway, poof here, poof there. would be great to see folks busy getting to destinations as you play along. In some ways this is how some great interactions come about.
     Not to mention the monetary side of it. Next to housing mounts I believe are one of the top sellers in many MMo's I will be willing to drop ten bucks on an awesome looking mount without hesitation.

I hear that adding mounts will solve new world’s most pressing problems, eliminating server queues, quashing longstanding bugs, balancing PVP, providing a myriad of new PVE and PVP content for people to experience, and overall just simply saving the game.

The real issue isn’t mounts but being unable to teleport out of anywhere unless you return to your home point, which is on a cooldown, or trek to a shrine which can take a while.

While playing on the current PTR, I’ve noticed that its relatively quick to get anywhere within Windsward or Everfall due to how many shrines there are now, once you got to Brightwood, its pure suffering.

A potential solution would be to allow to teleport to a shrine or town while out of combat like FFXIV.

I would rather like to see mounts and dynamic events added, than any expansion of fast travel.
For example, NPC ambushes or something like that.

You can reset your house cooldown anytime you want from anywhere on the map for a max of 20 azoth. You’ll never have to walk to another shrine to tp out for the small price of a tier 1 house. So worth it.

I forgot about that, I’ve recently came back to try the PTR.

You have the three houses with the cooldown where u can port to.and u can tp to your tavern every 30 mins for free. U just have to talk to the owner ones. And then u can tp freely everywhere.
a bottle of azoth cost about 3-5g for 50 azoth. we have never been more mobile :wink:

beside that, i would like to buy a mount,that will put me up to number 1 on the que list for my server😬

After 60lvl lost all will to do fraction quests running half map for 1 quest BIG NONO
With mounts i would with pleasure do them
