I just have to put my opinion about the last changes to animation cancelling, especially on the bow, out here because I think that this is a serious problem.
Your word was that the skills and their animations should be even for any class, so that there are the same possibilities for every weapon when it comes to cancelling etc. and that it would be a somehow fair fight (that would be why Adagios Evade on Rapier for example would be an even better skill).
Now I see that the bow was a strong weapon and the burst damage was really good with Auto Attack + Penetration Shot + Poison Shot. But man, that was all the bow was about. You then had to deal with a lot of cooldown and basically had 1 combo that you even HAD TO AIM FOR.
At the same time I can animation cancel basically every auto attack from Great Axe and War Hammer with any skill they have.
So you are telling me this is even? I mean the bow is pretty much a clunky ass anker on your hand when trying to move and shoot the abilities (in comparison to before). You really think that a skillbased weapon should be even harder to handle than an AoE left click simulator?
Please PLEASE revert those changes and give the bow the one spot back in which it felt good and kinda “op”. That is what the feeling of playing is about…
