I don’t think you need to skin them for the chest but the rabbits do drop the elusive sumptuous rabbit meat which goes for a pretty penny on the TP since it is so rare… (or at least on the 2 servers I have characters on it does)

I’m convinced that their ‘it goes back into the loot pool’ is wrong, too. Which means if you shoot a rabbit and someone else skins it, you may not remember where the bag COULD have dropped and then it’s gone forever. Can’t prove it but there are far too many people who have done thousands of rabbits for there not to be an issue with it.
Over 2,800 now. Give or take 50 from lost count/random single item crafts. Almost 400 sumptuous rabbits. I’ve checked every storage I have to make sure I didn’t grab/store it w/o knowing. I’ve cleared trees and bushes around the area the rabbits drop to make sure too. This is a real turn off to the game.
I am over 3000 kills as I count my ammo used and no drop as yet.

Are you sure that there isn’t a bug i have almost 6k rabbits killed and no drop also i noticed that in some areas when killing rabbits the lag is terrible but only in those areas with rabbits. everyone i know has got it under 1k rabbits so like… im confused

Pls explain how its a hustle when some people kill 6 things and some have to kill 6000 and are still going? Pls explain how someone trying that hard, killing thousands of rabbits day after day and still receiving no reward is a hustle. When someone else didn’t have to try as hard and got theirs. It is not a hustle. It is shit RNG and you’re ignoring the fact that people are working their ass off going mad going in circles farming the same thing for hours and days that results in nothing. You would be frustrated too. You cannot hustle RNG. You really think someone putting in hours of work trying to get something doesn’t deserve the reward? I think they do.

I am at 2353 kills and I have not seen the chest, I am losing faith. I have full major luck trophies running voidbent and luck weapons with full 599 luck bags and jewelry. I even tried removing my luck trophies and built new bags to have 0 luck and everything in between, including full skinning luck. I even ate my turkey leg and my rabbit feet. frustrated. but I wouldn’t care if you would just fix all the damn botting!
I kept a total of game meat looted every day , that gives 1 per rabbit.
got another 1k~ kills today, putting me at around 5k (pretty much stopped paying attention after reaching 4k game meat). Have not hated an event so much in any game before. Frustration over 9000. Been hunting them every day since the start of the event…

I’m 2500+ rabbits killed and no chest, so the bullshit reply of it’s in your loot pool still is super condescending and out of touch with a lot of players. I would understand if I was the only one that’s reported the issue I would be in the minority but when there’s multiple posts of people like me with thousands of rabbits killed with no chest it is an issue.

Hustle in RNG? Are u that slow in the head? My friend got it after 60 something kills and im up to around 2k and still no chest found? How is that a hustle? Did u hustle or are u one of those who got it after first rabbit kill cause RNG and not because of u?
I think this type of event should have a structure where it gives x% minimum payout chance on the first day and gradually it rises to an x% maximum payout chance until the last day. Giving everyone a chance. Because the way it is, the event more hinders than helps. We wasted hours trying to collect the chest while we could have been collecting resources, doing activities on expeditions, etc.
