My server has been in maintenance for 10 hours and is still offline for this mini patch … no character transfers come with it … So you want to continue, that if it doesn’t change immediately, New World will disappear as soon as it came is . It won’t go well that way.

Imagine owning or having access to the largest computing platform and IT infrastructure on the planet and it still takes 10+ hours to get some servers back online for your consumers. Absolutely shambolic.

its an absolute disgrace. I’m so dissapointed by Amazon and the devs whos have been working on the game. I wish I could do that at my job. Bring out what I announced 2 years late. Bring it out insanely bugged, not finished after postponing 2 years anyway. And then continue to dissapoint by making 5 hour updates 12 hours and so on and on and on the list goes. I wish I could do that and still get paid but not get instafired. Life would be good 8((

10:14pm still can’t play 11hour now

same here over 10h offline

I don’t even play EU and I’m furious for you guys. These are stupid problems for Amazon to have. No excuse. These are 30 minute updates (tops) in any other MMORPG.

Youtube and social media negative feedback is pouring in. It’s not just this either. Google previews already has this game as a red flag for consumers. The ship is sinking faster than normal.

more than 10hours now…

60 Servers left to get up and running, fingers crossed they are also up in the next hour or so, at this point even 1h doesn’t hurt after 10h

The biggest problem I see is that the game itself is not even bad. It is just the ridiculous amount of energy they put in to absolutely destroy it for especially European players. Who starts an update at noon and then let’s it run for 12 hours straight, taking a days gametime, instead of having it started at 3 am to have the most populated servers not going furious. I mean honestly, you have to do that intentionally. It is so far away from being reasonal, no one would ever do that. Period. Unless you want to troll people.

The patch duration killed my day too buddy. I had to actually work at work. It was a horrible experience! I never want it to happen again!

Let’s hope they give the EU staff some more control, because this might also play a role in the update times.

My company in Germany is managed by the US HQ of the company, and it’s hard to do something on our own without the approval of them in the US which takes ages for many reasons.
For example: We stop working two hours after they start working, so it’s a really small window to get things done, also law and procedures are different and make it take a lot longer.

So hopefully they let the EU people manage it instead of managing it from the US, because that makes things take 3 times longer than it should.

But that’s just my thoughts and i could be completely wrong here.

The majority of the employees work in the US so asking them to be working at ridiculous times is unreasonable. MMOs have maintenance and sometimes it is extended. Just get on with life and play something else until the servers come back online.

Tomius is right. I will just stop playing New World and play stable games until they will treat EU like worthy customers and not like trash. Either they will or I will not play the game anymore.

Why bother you the developers for the maintenance that lasted until 10 hours, but you prefer leaving us a game with bugs or doing their best to fix them which consequently lengthens the maintenance time?
