I never bothered choosing any of my territory bonuses at all, and now, my 3 highest districts are only offering me house ownership as a choice, not the usual 4 choices? What if I don’t want to buy a house in any of the starting areas? It’s not giving me any other offers, and I would be wasting a point being forced to take that in whatever district I definitely don’t want a house in?
Once you hit 10 your only choice for that level is house, meaning until you pick house you won’t be able to pick anything else.
It’s not wasting a point its more like receiving a lvl10 reward.

Ok thank you. But say I definitely want a house in Cutlass Keys, and that is much lower in the ratings. So I get that to 10, and choose the house option. Does that remove the option from other towns then? I know you can own 3 houses across the continent, but my question is, am I forced to accept this option on every single district and I have no choice in it, for the other 11 or so districts? That makes no sense. How about once I choose all 3 areas where I definitely want a house in the end game areas? Will that finally take away this sole option? It seems forcing you to pick this on 8 other districts that you will never be owning a house in, is definitely wasting one option, to me.

With that lvl 10 Territory Standing Point, you only get the option to get a house there, it has nothing to do with the maximum number of houses you can have.
You can just put the lvl 10 Point in every Territory and later get back to the settlement of your choice, to buy a house where you want.

I know, but you are missing my point, to begin with. If I know exactly which 3 territories that I want a future house in, then I will never ever pick the other 11 locations. I DO NOT WANT TO BE FORCED to waste a point in every single territory once I hit 10, without any options. I’m against FORCING me to take that option when I don’t want to. You can go up to 300 points, so I want it to just be option #4 at the end permanently, when I am ready, and choose to use it, that will be up to me. We have all these choices in the game, but wait!! You MUST CHOOSE the house option at 10, no matter what. Just like being force to choose a faction, when I would have been very happy factionless, like the Peaceful Panda in WOW, that leveled to 60 by picking flowers only, in the starting zone.
