Hi all, just thought i would give my thoughts on the game after 1200+ hours of playing.
- The mechanics of combat.
I dislike the stagger affect in all forms. Being interrupted 3 times in a row, and then to be stunned/rooted directly after is horrible feeling. There needs to be iFrames after all stuns, interrupts, and roots. I know there is a free dodge that build up, it doesn’t work as well as it should.
I run FS/IG in pvp, the constant root/stun is demoralizing. 3 iFrames would go along way after being stunned/rooted/slowed/knock down twice would go a long way.
2 The open world in general.
I love the beauty of it all. The lack of open world traveling npc’s, caravans, no hostile entities, hurts the depth. It feels wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle.
The lack of open world events detracts from the depth also. I would love to see open world bosses and faction sprinting to engage them. Make damage done to the boss relate to rewards. And make it so everyone who participated gets a reward.
3 The luck system.
The luck system is convoluted and archaic at best. Luck should tie into the gear score and rarity of a drop. I didn’t start playing to run chest over and over, but in my free time i like to, luck should make legendary drops easier to get. Even if it is 1%.
4 The crafting system.
Where are the cosmetic overlays for armor? I want to change my look.
I would love to see stats and perks tied to materials used to create the armor. Want the armor to have refreshing? Use the appropriate legendary/rare material.
5 Ways to enjoy the world outside of quest/chest runs/farming.
We need more to do outside of the normal. We need a reason to go to old places.
I would say Fishing is a good way to implement visiting old locals, but the lack of rewards from fishing makes it unfun. The rewards need reworked, the chest should have a chance of dropping legendary gear. Fishing hot spots need to be more and varied more often.
