** Need Bow Advice **

This is for PvE specifically as I don’t PvP.

Light vs. Medium (I’m wanting to craft a set of 590+ and bump it to 600)

300 Dex/150 Con vs 400+ Dex/50 Con

Difference between 400+ dmg and 300 dmg is about 130 on the sheet.

Bow = light armor.
The dex/con split depends on how much you get hit, i switch between 410/50 and 310/150 depending on the situation. Invasions shouldnt require much health as an archer, but 50 con can get messy dealing with open world elites.

Medium is only REALLY needed for mutations.
if you will want to spam mutations, get a voidbent dex (con) set.
For mutations again, 200 con is preferred.
For everything else PVE-wise, 50 con light is enough., and better

If you are doing dungeons I would suggest medium. That is what I run but I am a little disabled so I sometimes make mistakes and cant always avoid everything. I have however seen some really good bow players in dungeons in light armor. They die once in a while but they put out really good damage and avoid most of the stuff.

Best advice: switch to Great Axe. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Depends on what pve activity you wanna use bow for it,if you are play only with bow on any pve activity such as every mutation dungeons or stuff like that then that’s not really matter what you using, how ever if you want to try hard pve activity like mut then you need each set with bane on em,for example you want to do mutation on tempets and dynasty, what you need is 5x armor pieces with corrupted ward on it+useful perk(can be refreshing perks or weapons perk) and you can run full light build (all light except medium chest) and you can have 50-100 con rest for dex and take less damage than a medium player without any ward perk on their armor, also for every situation u can chose refreshing perks and weapon perks but it won’t help you in mutation dungeons.
