Need Damage Mitigation please!

I honestly believe New world needs a few core abilities to balance out the game.

#1 Phalanx - this would help balance OPR to the max. Some mobs and bosses have this ability already and this is needed to mitigate the insane damage coming from our dex and int bro’s. It doesn’t have to be like defensive formation, always up when ur shield is up but on a timer would be ok for balancing purposes.

#2 Spell/ Skill reflect - another option that has had success in other games. We are seeing HUGE fireball/ Pen shot numbers, no matter the armor/resil, would be great to give them a taste of their own medicine. I’d hope it would be for 5 seconds or so, that way those pesky bows/mages would think twice before dumping all their CD’s on a tanky boy with a shield.

#3 Mortal empowerment- in its current state, it’s an issue. It promotes and rewards last hitting enemies instead of rewarding skill. Musket and bow players (especially if they are good) can be very pesky. This perk encouraged and promotes low skill/ high reward gameplay giving them a HUGE buff piggybacking off their team. Now I know this isn’t always the case, but we can all agree to get to 15 stacks, you are aiming for the last hit, not contributing in any other way. And without a way for the target to reciprocate, it snowballs to an “out of control” place.

By the way, so it can be Read, if ur running 5 con and no to few resilient , OF COURSE everyone else will seem OP. It’s not their problem it’s your play style choice. :slight_smile:

This is all IMO, and would love to hear some feedback and thoughts.
