Need some clarification regarding luck perks on weapons

I’ve been trying to build the maximum possible loot luck set on hopes of making it easier to farm trophy materials for my guild (which is much harder than it should reasonably be, but that’s not the focus of this post…), and I’ve got some questions as to how the Luck perk works on weapons and shields.

On armor pieces it is very straightforward, on bags and jewelry too (althought some people believe luck on amulets and earrings is currently not working as intended…), but on weapons it becomes more complicated:

Does the perk work just by equiping the weapon? Or only when the weapon is being wielded/not sheathed?

What happens if I have two weapons that have the Luck perk? Will both of them stack? Or only the one that is currently being wielded?

And what about having both a shield and a sword that have the Luck perk? Will they stack as well? Will the shield perk keep working if I switch to my other weapon?

This questions are ridiculously difficult to answer with in game testing, and impossible to verify as we cannot see our luck stat in game, so some clarification would be much appreciated

Hi,
You made the same questions I’ve done myself the past days.
Lrts hope we get some clarity here!

Hey dude I have same question and I see when your character is looting chest the stats of your shield Is reduced so I assume your sword and shield doesnt work but would be nice if a developer answer this.

Luck on weapons work just like armor. The only piece of gear that WON’T be active is a shield unless you are sword and board. (shield and sword). SO, if you have a shield with luck and a sword with luck, then they will both work and yes stack.

But as soon as you put your sword away, the sword luck will still be active but the shield will not.
