If that is the older video, they used to riposte the orb. Granted maybe by now people have ways to DPS the orb enough solo? Didn’t watch the linked video but the original one definitely used riposte which I believe was fixed?
Yeah just checked it. That one is the riposte bug. Not sure if I’ve seen anyone do it since?
Ive personally witnessed a GS solo the orb multiple times because it was me as tank and a DPS with GS left alive. I kept boss away so he wouldnt get tail slapped while he destroyed the orb. Think we had to do it 3-4 times to finish the fight
Neishatun is most entertaining boss fight in entire game, beats everything i faced yet (have’nt played Ennead yet) and i wish for more bosses like this, battle is just so engaging, need to have spacial awareness to not get hit by the rings, one-shotting atack that forces player to dodge… very exciting boss!
You can still riposte it and that is not a bug. You can riposte any damage source apart from dots. But you can riposte getting the dot too.
You can also entomb btw. Also works.
The boss isnt hard, the MECHANICS in the fight are the real Boss. Learn the mechanics, and don’t stand in fire = Win. If you think this is a “Tank&Spank” type of fight, you will never defeat it. The Fire, Orbs, Adds are the fight.
I see that a lot in this game: A boss will call adds and there’s always this DPS still wailing on the Boss while the adds rip up the healer and in some fights, actually HEAL the boss. Comeon people!
Well I think whether or not it’s a bug I suppose is yet to be determined. It’s definitely how it works now for sure, but whether or not it’s suppose to circumvent a mechanic is to be determined unless they already mentioned this. It might just be a harder thing to fix given how they coded the abilities.
Often boss mechanics do this in many games where they are powerful enough to be exceptions. Since the makes it so the player can ignore the mechanic of moving to safe spots and the DPS check on the orbs. If that makes sense.
