Nerf bb or every melee will leave

No it cant. Did tested many times. Like few days ago some other dude asked if he can test bb on me (light armor, 200con) and he could not 1 shot me. Full combo was doing 8-10k dmg. Depending on attributes distribution. And i did require for me to not move. But we tested int main not str main. So only combination that can 1 shot 200con light armor is 200str+150int.

Yea but i made mistake there. And i admit it in that topic. I forgot that changes on skills that do dmg and have staggers are in fact on ptr.

So what is your point? I made valid argument there asking why skills that do stagger dont have dmg nerfed or staggers removed? And its based on devs explanation about why they did removed many staggers and nerfed dmg on many weapons.

And this topic has not substance at all. You cant even tell:

  1. what armor u use.
  2. how many con?
  3. how much fire res?
  4. what enemy build is?
  5. what enemy attribute distribution is

Like fuc…ing nothing. 0 substance. Just whining.

Fortify is a huge, huge part of the BB’s skill tree. You’d know that, though, having played it a lot yourself right? It’s a non melee build that has to be up close to do its full damage. The nerf to fortify impacted the BB more than any other weapon that has even close to the same level of fortify in its tree.

I don’t disagree with the changes that are coming and I will adapt to any nerf to ASB because I don’t crutch on it. But the “yeh keep going moar nerfs rofl” attitude is really bad when it seems to be that you don’t understand the weapon fully. Try playing it.

I switched to a 600GS non PVP GS in fun duels once, without having even maxed the mastery, and deleted my opponent faster than I’d ever do it with the BB. It was basically left clicks. And we’re all on the BB’s back?

I know why GS players hate BB. It’s a weapon that actually stands up to them and I do love a good GS roasting. But it’s still way, way harder to actually use and still does less damage with more hits.

I mean, I play heavy BB and everyone hates me for it. So I’m not even seeing the worst of the fortify nerfs. I still think it’s a significant nerf though. More than enough to warrant not going overboard on the BB itself.

Yep. And we can bet that like 70-80% whiners in this topic are GS players.
GS was reason why mages swap to BB. Couse BB can punish that stupid weapon. And they dont like it. They want spin and LMB click to death any other build.

And wana know more? @Doomsmoke_one is not just GS players. He does play in duo with second GS all the time. And i know how they hate that you can kill them if they dont pay attention while smashing LMB - i meet them on arena every day.

So we can assume that big chunk of whiners in this topic are 50-100con GS players that cry couse they got punished when they go into onslaught stance vs bb an dont pay attention. I would say f… them

A GS player calling for any sort of nerfs to any other weapon is just “make my life easier without me telling you I want you to make my life easier”.

We can support this topic without that anyway. I don’t think the changes are bad but I do think no one will see it as enough because people think we all crutch on ASB. Truth is, it deletes very weak players. It’ll still do that probably. Just like most weapons do. Like the GS. Or Hammer. Or SNS. Or FS. Or bow. And so on.

I run heavy and I can still one shot some very, very paper-thin players. You really need to be asking what they’re running if I can do that to them in heavy (for reference, one of those paper-thin guys was the guy I deleted just as fast with one skill chain and a single heavy attack of my 600 GS, which had no gem in it, was a PVE GS and my stats are STR/INT, this was the first and only time I’ve ever used the weapon in PVP and I didn’t even need a secondary weapon; imagine if I hard focused into it like I have with the BB I’ve used since FSS launch - should we balance everything based on this?)

GS cant be easier. Toriku (twitch streamer) was asked by ppl watching his streams to play GS/Hatchet. Yesterday first OPR he played he did 26/4 or sth like that. And before that he played that build for 1h. Also weapons he used were not best for pvp. So yea…

Melee in light should be squishy, if it goes 300 str, but in heavy it should be more tanky in dmg mitigation.
You cant kill everything thats not a balanced role you should be wary of light users that can kite you and nuked by mages if you wearing light. You see a mage run from it not to it.
Curent state bruisers are not afraid of anything and have many escapes and close gap skills.
A balanced build systems is rock paper scissors with risk vs reward. No light skitzo or medium should be able to close gap especially seen and my light armor speed is not hogher than yours or my dmg lower than yours. You have auto tracking on axe ga hammer sns. Aim on bows muskets mages light attacks have shirtest range and low variety of skills that put them in melee range.
Tanks tank, heavy bruiser or medium fight other mellee and dex shoot mages and healers and mages nuke everything high dmg glass cannon is a term used for mages not skitzo. Ags screwd up with the balance nerfing mages and adding dex hitscan. Fs ice and void gauntlets light and hevy attacks are not autotracking. You just click mouse and 3 skills no aim needed autolunge to nearest target.
How about ags actually makes you aim and then see how it is when you miss you slashes point blank.
