I think the biggest issue on GWell is the damage output combined with the CC. I think it should do one or the other.
In my opinion, fixing whirlwind, buffing it’s damage and nerfing gravity well could keep it’s relevance in AoE melee damage in wars and OPR while toning the damage down in Gravity Well so it becomes solely the pull and root for utility. Change the perk to pops twice and gain haste for 5 seconds per target hit, per pop max of 4, duration is extended with any hits passed 4. This would be great utility to tie in with WhirlWind.
So essentially you would Grav Well, charge in and maelstrom or try to get there in time to whirlwind and the haste will allow you to follow up afterward but being locked down until death due to a a double 2k pop is no longer a thing.

Btw, WhirlWind has grit so you don’t get staggered, but anytime you WOULD be staggered, it cancels whirlwind but there is no stagger.
I’ve made two bug reports and neither has gotten attention and it’s not in the known bug lists.
