Nerf Dex it is too Strong.. High Dmg, Insane CC ( Spear ) and tons of Mobility without cooldowns

Spear? Have you ever used a warhammer before? Thats some insane dmg.

It depends on the situation, If you are part of a group e.g. in OPR, 3v3 or war and you are trying to go after a dex player in a 1v1 instead of as a group then yes they are strong and you shouldn’t be doing it.

Each weapon type has strengths and weaknesses and strategies to counter. The CC of the spear is a lot but it’s attacks are almost as slow as the Warhammer so it’s easy to dodge and not get hit by it.

A dex player does high dmg due to the fact that they are glass cannons. They do high dmg but die super easily. I will admit that dex has a lot of mobility but again they have high mobility but they are squishy and easily killed if handled correctly.

It’s all about how you handle and how you counter different weapon types that will make you more or less effective, taking into account the Warhammer. The Warhammer is a really enjoyable and fun weapon to play, possibly the best weapon to play in a PVE scenario but in a PVP one, it’s pretty bad. The attacks are the slowest in the game and super obvious which makes actually landing those attacks very difficult, almost impossible in a 1v1 but in group pvp content it becomes easier to land those hits because there are greater numbers and not all of them will be focusing on you.

The spear is pretty much all about single target which means if they go in during a team fight they will die without doing anything.

Yea, that’s why everyone plays WH/Hatchet in light armor…oh, wait, they don’t

well no, they play heavy wh/ga and still deal more dmg
even with only 300points into strenght they deal way more dmg than spear with 100str/250dex

But… Thats what light swift dexterity builds should be tho…

People nowadays literally complain about every single thing

I’m a dex user… love all of them (except musket) and I want a nerf. It’s insane. I wouldn’t say it needs a big one, but being the best in mobility and sometimes even CC, while having a little more DPS, should already provide the “this is what dex is for”. Right now, dex damage, is in fact way over the top. I’d cut it by straight 10~15%.

PS. also need to factor in the fact that dex can and will run away from every fishy situation. Not to mention muskets and bows, amirite…? So there’s another huge advantage already.

my biggest complain with dex users is that their weapons and kit typically have high mobility and they give them additional advantage by reducing roll cost, most run rapier or spear and have 4-5 evades and rarely run out of stamina.

if you can catch a dex player they should be punished for the misplay not automatically having advantage in that they can infinitely kite you with the mobility they have.

No it’s not. 2 dex and a healer that can’t kill me. Every build has a counter. If you feel like you’re getting wrecked by dex try something different.
