Nerf Life Staff in PVP

Amazon need to do something about this problem. Is ridiculus saw 1 healer vs 5 or 6 people and being immortal…
Is stupid to saw healer enter in the middle of the fight and stay alive vs X persons. The real concept of the healer is to stay in the backline and being protect by his team, heal himself and his team.

there’s many solution to balance this weapon and the concept behind this class. (I want to be clear that this balance need to be done only in pvp).

  1. Nerf the healing on themself by 20 or 30% after every second or third ability casted with the lifestaff on himself. In my opinion this is a good compromised to stop make them immortal. (this nerf is not applied on other player he want to heal).

  2. Other option could be to reduce the heal on themself based on players around him in 1m (3 enemy player 10%, 6 players 20% etc.)
    I don’t really like this option but it will make them to play far away from the middle team fight.

  3. Other solution could be to remove the use of health potion if you have equipped a life staff.

This is not possible and is really boring play in arena or in opr when you see 1 healer heal himself with 5 or 6 people attack him. That’s not the real concept of the healer…

True. Life staff has consistently been the most overpowered weapon in the game. AGS has also severely nerfed heavy armor and rapier solely in an attempt to fix healers.

A +1/-1 differential on life staffs makes or breaks fights, which kills a lot of the enjoyment in PvP. Player skill becomes irrelevant if you get heal-diff’d by an AoE.

The main issue was the uncapping of healing efficiency, when every other status effect, including disease, remains capped.

Formerly capped at 150%, healers can how reach 260% healing efficiency. Meanwhile, disease caps at a 50% reduction.

Life staff feels really good to me, I think there should be more AOE heals honestly.

Maybe a slight BUFF could be helpful?

AGS doesn t care of Class Stereotype, lots of people gonna flee the game with Brimstone and new HearthRunes Gems… it s horrible

Or simply buff and add more anti-heal to the game. A few things I can think of
Increase effectivity of plagued strikes/crits. It’s like a c-tier perk for melee right now.
Increase duration on hatchet’s anti-heal cloud to 10 seconds instead of 6.
Add anti-heal to poison shot for example.

Making these three changes will impact the meta in wars a bit since you’re gonna want these buffed abilities on point.
