These same dex players point at a healer using a rapier as if they don’t pull the EXACT same 1v8 kiting bullshit with a rapier but even better because they dodge more. It’s pretty funny.

Don’t forget that bow literally has double the hitbox size of any other ranged weapon in the game.

Nobody asked for it, or wants it. Its actually a hinderance, cause we cant LOS a pillar and shoot. The arrow will hit the pillar.

So please take it away and leave us alone stop fing nerfing! Cancel the pen shot nerf and poison nerf, those are straight shots lol.

I guess we need a 360 aoe that hits for 9 million to not be nerfed.

That PVE nonsense should get removed from all PVP modes.

Give us free consumables as in 3v3 Arena.

True but don’t get fooled that Healing wasn’t the issue.
In any 3v3 (similar skill levels) the team with a Healer has an insane advantage vs the one without.

The problem is Light Armour really. It grants you considerably higher Damage/Healing despite little durability loss.
On top you get Dodges with longest i-frames and easy kiting.

The 150 DEX perk must go.
Can’t be healthy if one class (that’s not mana-dependent) gets 1 free Dodge every 4. :joy: :man_facepalming:

DPS gamers complaining back in launch about healers where OP/unkillable as paladins in heavy armor, to strong heals, sacred ground, “they can just camp in there sacred ground all day long”.
ASG nerf life staff healing on several abilitys and after some time dps gamers complain again about it and ASG kill the paladin class with -30% healing on heavy armor.

Now dps gamers complain yet again about healers are unkillable, to high mobility.
ASG just remove the life staff completely from the game, kill the healer class and increase the HP potions by 50%, so we all can stop hearing this crying about healers…

PTR perk buff changes increased thwarting counter from 15% to 20%.

You could make the brutes a catch up mechanic.

If you’re 300 points behind spawn a brute on cap.

If you’re 400 points behind spawn both brutes on a cap.

Honestly, I am more of a PVE player but I wish they would just get rid of all PVE in OPR. I hate it. I swear everytime there is a low runner and I line up my shot nicely, he aggros a wolf and the wolf eats my shot lol.

If theres anything that hates the life staff more…it’s probably those wolves.

Maybe even the brute actually. The brute will run through your whole zerg just to flatten you with his nerf meatball the second you cast.

I also hate the brutes. Spend all that time killing them only to reset the moment they are down to one shot.

You guys keep talking about me being a dex player but I have played Life Staff way longer. If you have actually read this forum post, we’ve discussed not nerfing Life Staff, but buffing or adding more ways to apply disease/plague. We’ve also talked about REWORKING Life Staff so it’s more balanced. Nobody wants to nerf Life Staff to the point where it’s unplayable. I would also be upset about that because I do like playing Life Staff every now and then. We’ve talked about reworking abilities to help support the team in other ways than healing. Every ability should not be heals because bigger scale fights are just boring with heals all over the place. They should add shields which could absorb damage for a short period and ways to buff players. I encourage you to actually read this post instead of making statements that make us go back to square one because I feel like some of us were making progress on constructive feedback but then we go back to square one… because some of you either refuse to read the post and become involved or want to completely shut us down. Instead of trying to shut down the conversation, why don’t you participate in finding a way to compromise to where everyone gets something positive out of this post?

100%. Unless using Life Staff oneself or with a Healer on the team one is at a constant disadvantage.

That’s far from balanced PVP…

Plagued Crits are of no use, no matter if LS is paired with Rapier or Void Gauntlet.

Ideally Life Staff will ONLY get its self-healing output reduced noticeably but ONLY in PVP.
That way PVE Healers wouldn’t be affected.

I think healing is supposed to be strong.

Fair enough, having played bow in a few wars myself i also think something like poison shot should apply disease but not for the full duration as poison.

Even i think 20s is a liittle too long but thats another topic.

At the moment shooting poison into the healers SG is a form of area denial and the healer might be reluctant to stand in it.
The same with storm when placed ontop of an SG.

If you stood in both, you’re more likely to notice the damage than the healing because the visual ques of red numbers and white haze raises your GTFO alarms. Like the PTSD of seeing ice shower and walking around it even if its friendly.

If poison shot affected the SGs effectiveness, one can consider that a counter.

I consider cast time a counter window. If i was planning to self cast DE on myself then im surely in trouble and near death. Current patch i hold pen shot for that animation and interrupt it.

If i had a spear, well, use any of its wide array of interruptions.

Infact in opr today i tested standing in my SG and beacon and orb, and two bows were enough to make me need pots

well i can look at your build for bow and see why your not doing damage right now, rain of arrows and poison off set the tick of healing. So you could have deleted most of them after with a quick heavy then followed with pen.

Anyway, this discussion is about small scale PVP.
Like Open World where VG Healers kill anyone without massive CC despite obviously lower skill.
Or like 3v3 Arenas and partially OPR.

There the issue persists, Life Staff’s (self-)healing output is beyond broken.

Which makes it more valid evidence than OPR with artificially padded fortify exclusive to the PVPVE casual game mode.

What are you concerns about, then, not getting to 1v1 healers and get guaranteed kills simply by persisting with attacks? This showcases that you have no issues actually bursting healers.

Then how come the healer didn’t tank those few bows using basic attacks on him?
