Your whole topic is lol, please provide us with real number about your first post on this topic. 300 DEX 140 int musket should hit less than a 315bow on a dummy target right ? BTW, no1 playing bow with 450 DEX - 5 con because you need to play mid-range and not render distance like musket does

Reduce Opening Strike talent by 8%. Reduce Surprise Attack by 10%.

Bow opening heavy attacks literally have +80% damage behind them before you even account for empowerment buffs.

This is with 315 dex 150 int

Musket headshots from 20+ meters doing 4700.
Bow headshots from same distance doing 7000.

Both weapons have vicious without any stat modifiers. Enchanted scales stronger with a bow as heavy draws do 150% weapon damage and that multiplies the effect. I don’t even have enchanted on this bow.

Chest crit was 6800 with a bow.
Musket chest crit was 4500.

The initial burst damage of a bow is ridiculously high. It’s higher than any other weapon in the game. Even with 20% thrust resist I lose 4k+ regularly on the first hit from a bow, and that’s damn near half my health. A musket just doesn’t do that. The passives aren’t even comparable.

Like, musket gets 10% more damage on targets below 30%.
Bow gets 20% more damage on targets below 50%.

Bow is just heavily crutched everywhere. The passive talents are insanely good and the abilities aren’t bad. They do tons of damage and are easy to use as well.

Musket critical hits and headshots do 15% more damage at 100m decreasing the closer they are.

Bow shots just do a flat 15% more damage at 10+ meters.

Like I said man, the passives are so out of line.

You literally comparing a heavy attack to a hitscan instantshot ? You can’t compare raw data like this you need more analysys there. So you basically dropping all Bow passive here while ignoring all muskets passive ? Feels like you coping hard because bow is the only weapon that can contest you at max-render distance.

BOW DESERVES BUFFING ONLY!! NO NERF BOW, Nerf lifestaff only by completely removing it from the game!

Well if it makes you happy there the only time I get a 7k+ headshot on a musket is when the target is powder burned and I’ve hit it about 3x already while in shooter’s stance. Hey congrats that’s literally all musket’s passives.

Sorry I can’t load a heavy attack into my musket while behind a wall and pop out to shoot it. Literally don’t even have an option there lol.

Also forgot I’m comparing that my musket benefits from weapon scaling with 150 int and my bow literally DOES NOT.

Bow passive : evasive tactic (15%) Mark (10%) Long range (15%) Opening strikes ( no1 use that in war ) / finishing shot 20% if 50%HP / surprise attack 20% if not 10 sec. Total : 80% more dmg. Musket passive : Called shot (5%) Emp HS (10%) / hit your mark (15%) / sniper (15% to HS ) / Salt (10%) / Empowering weakness (5%) / Kick ‘em (10%) / lethal combo (20%). Total : 90% amplified dmg. Not sure about your analysys

You literally just pretended you could spec both ultimates.

You also stacked all bow passive without thinking about it to prove your point , we can all put fake information. Like 20% HA on 100% hp target like it’s happens every shot lol

I said in the opening shot. This is a totally plausible situation IDK how you think it isn’t. It’s not plausible to spec both ultimates because it’s literally NOT POSSIBLE.

Also, to do what you’re claiming with the musket is SIGNIFICANTLY more situational than with the bow. Here, let me point it out for you.

With the bow here’s how that situation plays out…
Roll
Charge a heavy
Hit a target at 100%

That’s it… That has +80% damage behind it.

Here’s how that plays out with the musket…

Land 5 shots in a row, the 5th needs to be a headshot to proc empowered headshots as this buff doesn’t refresh each headshot.

This will proc empowered headshot. The 5th should also be a powder burn.

Then you need to be 100+ meters away.

The 6th shot needs to be a headshot. The target needs to be under 30% hp. The target also needs to be powder burned. You also have to have been ADS’ing for 3+ seconds and if you fired a shot that 3 seconds breaks so you have to wait 3 seconds after the 5th shot.

So you have +20% from 100% HP and IN same time you got 20% from finishing shots ? :face_with_monocle:

Also during all those shots you cannot roll or you will lose the heightened precision buff. So you have to hold right click during all this.
