Hitscan means your weapon doesn’t use a “PROJECTILE”
It’s an instant-hit if target is on your crosshair but is still affected by the laws of weapon max-range.
Kindly do your research before making ridiculous claims next time.
My favourite weapon? You mean BB? I think it fits in this game, the musket though. It’s something I’m really good at and it solves my offensive handicap in regards to playing with high latency (which, other weapons are just unplayable with)

Musket remains the most broken weapon, but hatchet is more annoying than the old rapier before the nerf.

nerfing all those weapons does nothing i believe mortal empowerment is what breaks any build that can stay alive and conferm kills just shy of the 500 con riff raff
The current meta used in OPR its only to blame OPR scoring system.
I dont think Musket/Bow need any nerfs in DMG, but they need a limitation in shooting range to the same or slightly higher range than any other magic weapons.
Its absurd and unlogic to limit all magic weapons to certain range, but Bow/Musket to can shoot across the whole OPR MAP.
Big majority of Bow and Musket players are playing like exactly the same like magic players. If magic ranged players can dodge and hit so can do it the Musket and Bow players.
Not fixing it will fix something. Everyday less and less players log in, because they can’t stomach the game atm. Musket you think is helping this feeling or are the people just out of line for hating a sniper rifle in a medieval/colonial fantasy game? Funny I don’t remember old George Washington climb’n up on them rocks and ace’n dudes across the Potomac river… It goes to show you why guns fight guns, not swords fighting guns… makes people upset when you can’t interact with people you are fighting. Stun locks, super long range, and infinite slows are all the things people are complaining about… holy crap… I’m shocked.
Musket is a fatal cancer on the game right now and every single hour the musket remains un-nerfed it damages the health of the game. Every single day someone quits and uninstalls new world solely because of musket.
If musket got removed from the game entirely right now, the game would INSTANTLY be 100x better. No question about it.

Totally true, because you can kill them, they have no permanent movement speed, and no huge range to be unkillable and cant play Benny Hill chase like the musket and bow.
Really that movement speed on top of their range and damage is just broken.
