It must be called Great axe warhammer mode. Because without great axe in team you lose 100%. The team with most amount of great axes and hammers will win every time. What does it tell us about the developers?

The same thing we knew for months now. That the Devs feel like Great Axe should always be the most powerful weapon in the game. That bruiser builds should be completely curb stomping everything else. Did I get that right?

I completely disagree… axe is great in large scale fights because of the damage it can do to multiple targets with one swing. In arenas you rarely are hitting multiple people at once since there are only 3 enemies and they aren’t concentrated on a point like in opr or wars. Grav wells are lucky to pull 1 player in arenas. I think axe is pretty meh and actually prefer spear. Plus range is very strong as well as ig. To say axe is dominating arenas just isn’t reality.

I call Bull*** on that one.
We played 30 Arenas yesterday, we had 1 Axe/Hammer, 1 Bow/Spear and 1 whoever had time to play. Lost 2 games.
Sword and shield with hammer or spear is more meta than Axe.

No you didn’t get it right. Great axe isn’t that strong in 3 v 3s. Great axe excels in large scale battles where players are concentrated on points due to its attacks doing damage to multiple players with each swing. This happens far less frequently in arenas as there is only 3 at most enemies and no point to clump players. It’s almost as if you don’t play this game cause you are too busy playing BDO or trolling this forum.

Are you sure those GA/WH players did not have a vg/ls behind them? Because I win most games against bruisers unless a vg/ls is present in their team…

I agree they’re way to OP, I cant get away from them in light anymore with half the armor and hp as they do.
LMAO, you must be really bad at the game. cause any good team run LS/Void some Bow/Firestaff. and Yes GA/WH but it is no way OP to what LS players can do with the builds.

New World players still can’t fucking agree which weapons are overpowered. Is it all of them? Is it none of them?
Spear players a mystery. Do they exist? Does spear exist? Is spear real? How can spear be real if our eyes aren’t real? What about hatchet?
Void, Ice, Fire, Life, Wammer, Gaxe, Bow, Musket, Blunderbuss still seen as overpowered. Hatchet and Spear can just go fuck themselves. Sword and Shield the choice of New World Gigachads.
Will keep searching for the answer to the mystery: “Why is CC so dumb powerful in this game?”

On which PvE server are you? Any GA/WA is a easy farm in 3vs3.
or you could call it solos vs groups, very well thought again AGS

3 VG/IG vs 3 GA/WH - VG/IG wins
2 VG/IG + LS vs 2 GA/WH + LS - VG/IG wins.

Medium spear is freaking unkillable and does tons of damage and CC.
