Just cleared m10 tempest. Medium had to spec 200 con.
In PVE healing we should have a choice of armor type. All types should be viable.
With the changes to -30 multiplicative to Heavy and 0 bonus to medium all PVE healers are forced to play light.
I HATE healing in light. Why force all PVE players to go light? The proposed changes are too much. My suggestion is keep it as it is. Why kill healer build diversity. If i want to heal heavy in M10 let me. Dont force me to go light. The light play style is terrible.
Keep it as it is at the very least. 0 +15 +30.
LEAVE MEDIUM at +15 %. -30% is too much for Heavy. You want all healers in light? You want to kill the tanky healer in PVP and PVE? Do you even heal PVE?
with the new changes it will be -30 0 30. Why must all healers go light???
Please Please Please dont make this change. Any healers on the forum pls comment your thoughts. I want to play medium and heavy in PVE and not feel punished for it. Already the difference is noticeable. It will be impossible to heal in medium or heavy with the changes.
A charm of New World is the classless concept allowing us to be any archetype we want free of being locked to a single functionality. This goes live, it will be the end of that charm because an entire archetype will be forced to run in weak, easily killable, builds all because the lowest end players in the community can’t be bothered with getting better. And they’re still complaining that light armor is too strong, I wouldn’t be surprised if they go after that next.
All the time, gold, resources, and effort invested will be invalidated for the sake of kills.
Well you play game that does have both: pvp and pve. And all skills and stuffs are common for both. So its kinda hard to balance. But i dont think that difference between +15% med vs +0% med will be that much for pve.
I think this is why generally I dont like pvp using the same skills at pve.
PVP tends to completely destroy PVE skills as there will always be a new meta which needs balancing thus keep screwing up PVe play.
We need seperate skills and once and for all be done with it.
They need to change the effects of skills depending on whether its a PVP match or PVE match.
how about PVP and PVE specific perks, you need multiple sets or arm out anyway in this game so PVP specific armour wouldn’t really be a stretch would it.
Decent combat system with counter measure would be nice also, would help break the stun fest this game is.
