I’m really addicted even with the problems. I keep buying skins to support NW but my purchases are probably drop in the water. If ever I make an annoyed post in the future it will be because I love NW and I want it to succeed.
That’s all of us. We want it to succeed or we’d all be out duping and crashing markets to harm it.
Yea, ik it has issues and people can roast me but the community and the dynamics and how people do in the game makes it fun for me.
I love me a community driven game and am gonna stay till I am no longer having fun
I just hope they add more community options. Make factionless options, options to depose companies of your own faction, the ability to draft mercenaries from other factions in company events, smaller hamlets separate from main settlements that serve as connected, smaller hubs (maybe only one or two crafting tables and a storage linked to the main settlement?), just more ways for players to be involved overall-- and options for those who’d prefer to abstain from the company based settlement system, that can remain neutral, but as such suffer higher likelihood of damage because they’re no company’s keep…
Like the idea is the players drive the game so like, let the servers be their own petri dishes; people report all sorts from monocolor maps to factions allying to healthy, three-sided competition. It’s clearly working in that way, it just needs more approaches. And if transfers are handled amicably, players can find the server they like and go there.
I even think a difference in saturations is good, low pops, medium pops and high pops all have a place in a long-lasting scheme.
