Right let them be unkillable. When their sacred is ticking for like 500 it’s not going to help the DPS. I run light 100 con and sacred ticks for 1100. I just use my movement.
The stam changes are going to hurt us in wars, so much less movement and escape. I’ll need to push more into con. But the biggest change is the cast time to LE. It’s dead. No point taking it anymore. If they keep these changes if you want to target heal it has to be DE.
For sure, more deaths incoming, I’ll need to run more con. But there is a skill gap in this game. I love the feeling of breaking ankles. Still doing it on PTR, i don’t just spam dodge, I juke put people and make them burn their abilities. Brings me joy since I just keep people alive and don’t kill people
I have been a heavy healer since launch and have weathered the storm with regards healing changes. But even in heavy armour, some PVE fights are a challenge for me. I dont have BIS gear, infact my gearscore is only 580 at the moment, but that shouldn’t mean i have problems healing in a normal expedition.When i get to a level where i can do mutated ones, i am really concerned i will be of no use really.
I love being a healer but it is becoming increasingly more difficult to heal in expeditions etc with the nerfs implemented which are meant for PVP gameplay.
The majority of complaints i see about heavy healers in particular are that we are too hard to kill. But we also cant deal any real damage so there is that balance.
Equally the biggest complaint about the changes has been the impact they have on PVE content.
Maybe any changes that are implemented specifically for PVP could be implemented when we flag. That way the build we have for PVE is not restricted as much as it is currently.
In every mmo I play as healer mostly, but after that healers got tons of nerfs , AGS treat healers like garbish and when this PTR update is on the horizon, atleast Im gonna leave healer class for good.
This restrict on healers only use light armor for the benefits increase 30% healing is a big no no for me.
it’s still funny 99% of play light healers because it’s completely OP. He nerfs medium and Heavy xD He plays their game lol? personally I don’t care I only play light. But I feel sorry for the others lol. It’s sad to break the diversity. changing light’s embrace cast time is a BAD BAD idea. it is ment to be an “oh shit” heal give it a cast time, whats the point, can go devine embrace instead
I agree on nerfing heavy healers, but for the other changes? does not make sence.
i do not pvp i enjoy the pve aspects, and in order to balance pvp you killed the pve aspect.
now am forced to go light in order to be competetive (i was a medium user)
getin a gold on am 10 with light armor? you better be on top of your game on dodges, one mistep = your dead. and IN ADDITION they changing stamina rules?

I’ve been playing daily since release, but after testing the healer in PTR, I haven’t logged in 5 days. If the patch goes on, I’m out. I totally lost the willing to log in right now. The game has been improving patch after patch (well, february was a bit messy), but May PTR is a huge step back.
@Developer plz just make the heal -30% healing in heavy only for pvp modes or flagged ty have a good day keep it regulars for pve flagged simple and easy everyone happy except for the can’t die heals in pvp
not sure what the devs are thinking by bringing these changes to the PTR… i know why few people whined that pvp build this is op vs pvp build that etc etc
i like to change my play style often, one of the play styles was to be a heavy healer, which will no longer be an option in any mode pvp or pve(as players will not invite you if you play this way) on top of the already limiting restrictions of getting into content, these changes will only exclude more types of armor and playstyles from the “acceptable” pool of what players perceive as effectvie in new world content.
AGS logic: oh about 5% of healers are wearing heavy armor and about 10% medium armor, let’s nerf it so no one plays it. Also, let’s add a cast time to the heal that it’s supposed to be the urgent heal, and also, let’s make it not heal more than 4k, because that’s a lot of heal.
Also AGS logic: oh look at that blunderbuss oneshotting everyone, seems cool. Let’s leave it untouched and have some fun! Oh and also look at that bugged gravity well, it is exploding three times and unbalancing all the wars. Let’s wait to fix it until May patch, so we can have some fun while it lasts!
Just wanted to let other healers know I do m10s all day in light. Full ward gear and 200 con. Not saying this to tell you to switch but incase you are forced to it’s very much possible. I also use void blade and I’m in the action swinging.
Ward gear is relatively cheap too. Doesn’t have to be BIS dungeons are relatively easy.
My legit concern is the LE change. I save squishy DPS all the time with that. They can go from full health to one shot in a second. Doesn’t matter what armor you run. That nerf already has healers on my server building mage classes,.
