Your ideas are awesome and with the visual engagement all you need is translate everything to Mandarin for the chinese that’s currently managing the game can understand.
Jokes aside only 1 thing I disagree on your post is the poup up for sign up for pvp activity, don’t get me wrong, I’m all for pvp people play as much as pve, but on the loner side might become annoying. I already hate when I open the map and see those banners over settlements and even when you close them they always come back. I believe such feature would be possible if coming along with a checkbox that tells never to show again. Than it would works for those who are interested on the event.
Back to the jokes, they already are struggling with the current game design, maybe if they become interested their kids might be able to implement those highly wanted features you described.

I just don’t understand why the community has to come up with ways to fix a game these days, especially a big budget game. There are so many games saturating the market now that you could literally spend a day looking at forums for various games to learn what players want. If you have played many games (especially MMOs) then it is even easier to know what players want.
The number one thing that works for games is fun, if a game is created and it is fun then many people will play it.
Immersion is also a very big thing for a lot of players.
Some of the key features that, to me, are a must for MMOs:
- Servers in all regions (this is so important these days and is Lost Arks’ biggest flaw). If there is no server in your region then at the end of the day it doesn’t matter how great the game is it will be tarnished by bad latency and inevitably fail in the server lacking region. This is something many Oceanic Lost Ark players are in denial about.
- Mounts.
- Character customization within the game world (Not just at the one off character creation screen) something like a barber shop that allows full re-customization for a fee.
- Free Hearthstone (with quest chains to reduce the cooldown to as little as 10-15mins).
- One off Attunements for dungeons and raids like large quest chains etc… (No orbs or paying other players so you can experience content).
- PVP Battlegrounds and Arena, rated with in game ladders, and average latency displayed beside players in the ladder. Maybe even tiers governed by latency so the number one player in the 120-180ms bracket is just as important/revered as the number one player in the 1-50ms bracket.
- Awesome quest chains that lead to things (Notably a sense of achievement and progression).
- No Open World PVP. ::EDIT:: Most games fail at implementing this in a good way, sometimes it’s just best to not have it.
- New quests constantly added for mini stories within the world, not necessarily to just get better gear…
- Variety of enemies.
- Variety of character customization.
- Decent grinds that are not required for full enjoyment of endgame.
- Scenarios (smaller than a dungeon).
- Many dungeons (not just a scatter of dungeons with most being useless once you out-level them).
- Raids with varying difficulties that can be done with 10 - 50 players, bosses scale to the number of players.
- Incentives to help new players out.
- World bosses that are not gated behind a certain server time and can be summoned when X amount of players are there to assist the summon.
- At least one currency that is bound to the players account and cannot be traded or bought with real money (doing a variety of things in the game should contribute to this). The main thought here is something that prevents the gold sellers and bots from being a thing.
- Alt friendly (Lost Ark has one of the best alt friendly systems I have seen).
- Last names for characters that can be hidden and only auto display when in close proximity to another player with the same first name.
Honestly the list goes on I could sit here all night and make this list as long as some of the larger threads on this forum, and I am just one person who has played many games.
Lastly, back on the topic of quest chains, good quest chains are paramount for immersion, fun, sense of accomplishment, and making the game constantly feel alive. As long as they keep getting added and it’s not just one every other month.

I made this suggestion months ago.
The idea was to have chests inside that just have random gold values something like 5-10k and only 1 person could loot it.
Honestly why would you need mounts. Game map isn’t that big teleportation able everywhere at mow cost. You can even trade items between cities without any malus now.
What i want most is split attributes to be used with timeless shards
Because tp breaks the game-flow but mounts it wouldn’t do

Some of them have been implemented like the speed boost on roads.
Congrats on a wonderful set of ideas and a positive presentation. I particularly love the idea of solo dungeons/areas. I would love going underground, through trap doors in cellars, behind waterfalls, climbing to hard to reach areas and finding small dungeon like systems to play through.
