One of the annoying things in new world is the need to switch clothing for gathering/refining/crafting professions.
I propose we eliminate that need for clothes by creating a charm bracelet that can hang charms for the various gathering luck perks, refining accumulation perks, and crafting expertise/mastery perks.
A jeweler would be required to create the bracelet itself. This bracelet would have no attributes or perks of its own. It would be a simple metal band.
The jeweler would also create the charms using crafting mods.
Ahh you say, but many of these perks don’t exist as mods, but only on clothing drop! That’s where we need an armourer to come in. Allow them to extract the crafting perk from a piece of clothing and create a mod from it. (The clothing is consumed in the process).
Slap your charms on the bracket and now never have to change clothes!
Now…. I’ve only proposed this for crafting/gathering/refining as allowing other types of perks to be included on a charm would create balancing issues whereas these types of perks being worn at all times would have minimal impact on the game (other than being very convenient for players - and removing friction).
And yes I realize this would mean gatherers could wear better pvp/pve gear as opposed to gathering specific. So what? I think this would be a positive change for both the PvP and Pve player.
