Plagued Crits - Critical strikes against target below 50% health inflict disease for 12s, reducing healing effectiveness on the target by 10%-40%.
Plagued Strikes - Heavy attacks against targets inflict disease for 8s, reducing healing effectiveness on the target by 10%-40%.
Thwarting Counter - Deal 10%-25% additional damage against targets with active grit.
Thwarting Strikes - Deal 3%-12% additional damage while you have active grit.
Trenchant Strikes - Fully charged heavy attacks deal 3%-15% additional damage.
Trenchant Crits - Fully charged heavy attacks deal 5%-20% additional Crit damage.
Trenchant Rend - Fully charged heavy attacks apply rend for 7s, reducing target’s absorption by 4%-15%. (12s cooldown).
Trenchant Recovery - Fully charged heavy attacks heals the player for 10%-30% of the damage dealt.
Physical Aversion - You take 2%-4% less damage from ranged physical light and heavy attacks.
Elemental Aversion - You take 2%-4% less damage from ranged elemental light and heavy attacks.
This is a list of some new perks added to the game.
But why the best perks are only for melee weapons ? What is the point ?
This was my hope to make mages good again… and my hope was gone another time…
If you guys want to make this game for a melee game, just delete other weapons… it’s easier.
It does seems like everything is moving towards melee slugfest. Healing gutted, ranged either nerfed to the ground or had mechanics changed to a broken state…
Just to let you know, Plagued Crits can be on ranged weapons, but I think it only does 25% healing reduction for 6 seconds at 599gs. I do not know if it can be cleansed like the hatchet healing debuff ability, which would make it worthless.
If you try to put most of these mods on say…a void gauntlet, or on armor, you’ll find that you don’t get the option.
Most of these only go on melee weapons.

Was bummed when I saw that I couldn’t put plagued crits on armor or on magic weapons. Then looked into it some more and realized that basically all of these only go onto melee weapons what the heck lol.
I do understand that most of these would be pretty strong if they were just being freecasted at range though.
They probably did that so people couldn’t just sit back in wars and stuff and put perma healing debuff on people? idk to be honest I didn’t even know that they couldn’t go on anything but melee.
lol effing ridiculous. You nerf the GA a little then bring in these mellee only super strong perks. You nerf ranged to the ground and do nothing. Seriously F this game I’m done.
Quite literally there are players like myself that can no longer use the bow in an efficient manner.
Changes like this to the bow that are sudden, unexplained, or even discussed makes it seem more and more like we’re guinea pigs for Lost Ark their next mmo.
