Currently trying to start running muts on fss but it’s almost impossible. I was able to get into a pug this morning that didnt last long since someone decided to quit but if you’re new just starting muts its hard to find other people trying to climb to m10 and its hard to get any m10 runners to run with you because that just wastes their limited runs. So how are people supposed to do mutations? I guess wait for cross server dungeons or devs could just stop capping mutations. I thought playing on fss wouldnt be such an issue right now but there are several people already doing muts

This is thanks to the mutation limits and trying to go from 1 to 10.
An absolute pain in the rear. Even difficult to find players to run regular expeditions.

Especially with New World’s constantly declining player base, it’s really time to make solo versions of all Expeditions.
There just isn’t enough population, spread out over so many mini-servers, to be convenient.
Plus on top of that, everyone overlevels the early expeditions too fast, and then just tries to rush to end game gear grind, so tons of content is basically ignored.
And no, cross server isn’t going to help. That will just spread out the issue of shard sellers messing up perfectly good runs.

It’s also the best way to farm umbrals. So it’s taking forever to get my gear to 625 and these 50 at a time you get from just looting a chest isn’t cutting it. I guess i could do opr but even then thats not enough
when i was on legacy i never messed with shard selling but if you’re running with a group can they kick you if they are trying to sell shards? nvm i read that link
Maybe limiting only M10 runs to 25 per week could be the answer.
M1-9 become 25 per day like normals?

Sadly the problems playing on FSS was foretold by the community that played the game before they arrived.
That being said until they enable people to trasnfer out of FSS, why not find a company ? Get a group together, not everyone is obsesed about being as efficient as possible… 3 people from the Top2 group on my server were helping people last week though whatever mut they needed. People that already have everything they need often do them for the “fun” of it, get to the top rankings and then help others out…
SO dont be afraid to communicate with people, theres plenty of nice people out there and despite everyone seemingly being M10 on these forums and doing 25 mut each week, is not actually the case in game.
Yes they can and rarely will they. Usually it’s best practice to host your own lobby, as the host is the only member not able to be kicked by a vote.
