There is no new weapon announcement until after summer according to this dev video & roadmap 
new world is a great game But i feel like there is room for faster weapon releases.
The current weapons are full of bugs and animation locks/built in slow and stuns… do you honestly think they should pump out more broken weapons at this point?? It’s literally why everyone is leaving…
Maybe they are going to announce some kind of paid expansion some time soon for next year and the weapon might be one of the selling points. Copium.
