ANY updates to when this is going to get fixed !?
i dont want to swap gems out bc i dont know if the devs are fixing this “bug” (i really don’t even know if taunt was meant to be disabled with these gems, im just assuming its a bug)
if we can just get a quick update to know if we should swap them out or not that would be FANTASTIC! ty

I had runeglass carns in my sns and greatsword using taunt gem compatible skills (defenders resolve, shield bash, roaring rupture) and the absolute taunts were not triggering more than 50% of the time. I’ve since switched out to regular carnelians (hurt my heart to destroy the runeglass carns of leeching and energizing) and have not tested since the mini-patch a couple days ago.
Has this been verified as a bug and fixed? Or was this somehow by design?

ptr patch notes says they have fixed this just isnt live yet
They added a speculative fix for Runeglass Taunt Gems, in the last patch 1.7.1.
But I can confirm it still doesn’t work as intended or at least I hope it’s not intended

It is bad enough having to constantly swap gems based on the dungeon you want to run. Add in the cost of the Runeglass and it gets just too much. We should get these back.

Yeah it does work. Taunt works just fine with this
So you are using Runeglass with in a carnelian, then you got to be the only player in all of New World that has it working! Good for you 
Then the rest of can hope ours get fixed soon too
