Here’s just an idea to help with the upcoming new players for the patch (especially if you guys do a marketing push once launches, which I assume you will).
Open new servers where you can’t transfer into it. However, you can transfer OUT if you want. Keep it like this for at least 3 months - control your incoming population, promote players experiencing your great new storyline, and keep current players happy and out of queues.

I think it might happen eventually, might be cool to have these open every once in a while. Having them permanent would be a big mistake but I think giving this for our returning makes a ton of sense. It just needs to be after the territory changes.
Im pretty sure there will be fresh servers without transfers once Brimstone patch hits.
well the problem with doing this and letting ppl transfer out is it’s going to just be a bot farm. you’d have to have it no transfer out for at least a while to keep people from just bringing their bots in and taking advantage of lower level pop for it.
I do like the idea. but it would have to be new char only, that world only, for a couple months to work.
