New servers isnt the way to solve scaling. This is

Every server should have like N number of channels that scale based on server needs, each channel able to hold 2k people. People should only be allowed to switch channels if 1. the channel isnt full, and 2. once an hr/30mins. Each channel should have their own resources etc, and feed into the same trading post database, perhaps even the same global chat with local secondary chats as well. And since you cant channel hop like a mad man, there is really no way to channel hop and farm all the resources in every channel. :smiley:

We could make territory pushing an average of all the efforts from every server. And make forts seamlessly aware of the other channels as well.

OPR / Arena / dungeon finder should be instanced and pull from EVERY channel. They should be ranked and players should fight players in their skill level.

This kind of stuff should have been WAY before guitar hero.

Adding new servers is the bandaid but what is needed is a proper fix. The game is better, its attracting people and thats great… but creating new servers that wont have economies and get taken over by hackers… that aint the play. I know server switching is apparently big bucks for all the rmt war logging companies but man… Yall can do so much better.
