I feel like outside of forts and settlements there is not a lot of variation within what you can do there. Outside of that almost every fast travel point is just the fast travel point and thats it.
- Adding structure variation around fast travel points to make them more then just fast traveling -
I think adding like a small camp where you could craft or talk to a like camp leader or something inorder to do some extra quests to help the camp would be something nice.
See it like a different alternative for townboard quests but instead of townboard quests stuff like kill elite beasts or go to a special quest encounter. I think adding more variations to questing would make this game way better and making camps for that near fast travel point would also have more open world variation and overall more to do.
I think the idea to go to camps to complete new and unique quests is a good way to improve upon the main story quests.
