New Territory Management Changes ARE HORRIBLE, here is why:

Look, i will give you Mourningdale as example. :slightly_smiling_face:

Before this stupid update:
Morningdale daily: average 68k = average +480k weekly
Upkeep Cost = -20k weekly
Everyday we pay 20k for upgrades in town = -140k weekly
Everyday we start townbuff for 2,5k = -17,5k weekly
We got average 3 wars weekly, declare cost + consumables for war = -100k weekly
Total profit: 202.5k weekly

After this stupid update:
Morningdale daily: average 35k = average +245k weekly (even considering server is more crowded after update)
Weekly Upkeep Cost = -113k weekly
Everyday we pay 20k for upgrades in town = -140k weekly
Everyday we start townbuff for 2,5k = -17,5k weekly
We got average 3 wars weekly, declare cost + consumables for war = -100k weekly
Total profit: -125.5k weekly

This should never be case and yes, you messed this up AGS, good job.

Did you upgrade your settlement workstations?

We are trying to, but we can make only 2 upgrades daily.

This is not even fair, you are doing PvP influence with company and alliance in the teritory do all roster thigs about 50 ppl, if you are good you win city, but city going to loose your company funds, it´s give you funds only if all city craft tables etc. are on the max rank. If it´s not maxed you going to loose money…
These changes could destroy crafting in the cities and townbuffs aswel.
This system is really bad and going to ruin motivation to do wars, crafting and economy.

It already did, we had only 1 war on server since update dropped.

Abaton server with 600 queue at peak times and nobody is even attempting to push.

This is true, and good luck getting your town boards completed. They removed all reason to do them.

This is how much did Brimstone made in 2 days ON HIGH POP Server, they paid 100k to buy territory + did pay for upgrades + need to pay upkeep soon.

This is just nonsense.

Not online is brimstone deleting the money earned in it’s own territory, it’s deleting gold earned in all territories until it hits 39 and its at 4 lol

Its really bad. I am happy i am not only one who have noticed it.

And that is the fault of AGS that you declare war on others and buy consumables?

Working as intended as a gold sink :x.

They wrote a breakdown of how it was going to work.

It’s a penalty for people owning several towns and leaving them derelict to collect taxes. Now you have to build them up to maintain income. And incentive to complete invasions and hold onto the one or two that you can afford to, so you can get the rewards you want.

Once you make the upgrades the money will be worth it.

OR, you wait for someone to fully upgrade a zone and just take it from them (which is what is already happening). Let someone else lose all their gold and take it right when it turns a profit (if it ever does).

Right, heavy incentive to attack a nice fat territory.

You can’t use declaration costs when you’re defending lol

Guess you never owned company.
Anyone who is sane wouldnt say what you did. And we want to enjoy wars, so what? Imagine if you had to pay 10k for every regular dungeon you play.

No, its penalty for everyone.
This will just make people dont run townbuffs anymore, because it doesnt even matter if people are in your city or not.

So if someone for purpose destroy territory, there will be nobody conquer it because they will lose money if they want to upgrade.

Why would you keep something you are losing money on?

Someone will build it up and make a profit, people who don’t aren’t going to keep fighting to keep something they can’t just sit on and make bank.

Not running town buffs means no one is going to do your town boards.
It’s a give and take. Not a take and take.

You already GIVE SO MUCH TIME in preperation, gear, strategy, roster, recruiting players to GET TERRITORY, YOU SACREFICE TIME TO GET BETTER and win over. YOU SHOULD get coins for it NOT lose. For real, get yourself together.

You are getting coins!

It’s just not instantly 2 or 3 million coins a week xD. You have to put in time to make it that way now. It costs investment.

It also heavy penalizes again, owning derelict towns. There’s no monetary incentive to try and lock down half the server any longer. It’s much better to build up your one town and keep it.

Exactly, why would you?

Assuming you CAN build it up is what is causing the disconnect here. What if you cannot build it up to make a profit? That is the problem we are discussing.

It’s a give and take. Not a take and take.

Running town buffs is easy, it’s the DOING of the town boards that is no longer getting done.
