New Topic button is disabled when I navigate to Game Feedback category

This is bad site design, I don’t understand why the “New Topic” button is disabled. It should simply allow me to open a new topic in the current site section. I wasted 20 mins wondering if I’m somehow punished and not allowed to open a new topic, or if maybe I needed to complete something or post a certain amount of posts till being allowed to do so but no, the button is simply disabled in the Game Feedback section.

As a developer myself I don’t understand how this obvious bullcrap happens or why it is allowed to stand. This can literally prevent people from posting to forums and starts things off on a bad foot. You give me the impression that either you have really bad developers who have no idea what they’re doing or you’re purposefully trying to obfuscate things to make it hard for people to post. So which is it?

the button is simply disabled in the Game Feedback section.

It’s disabled in the overall category, but if you navigate to one of the sub-language categories, you’ll be able to create a topic. Totally agree that it is confusing though, but I believe that’s more of a limitation on how they want to separate out the language sub-forums.
