My man. Their are 10 equipment slots per character, stop crying because two of yours will no longer be BIS lmao.

Many MMOs rapidly balance in their infancy, but new world is kind of unique in that it’s balancing is heavy handed af I’ll give you that.

Also an enchanted/Attunement/Proc musket is going to be 100% better than Infamy next path

If AGS is adding a weapon to the game and players are working hard to get it, you cannot nerf it. if you are nerfing this weapon just because it has 2 dmgcons, you have to nerf all the other 2 dmgcon,proc weapons as well, or even easier you shouldn’t add such weapons to the game at all.

Seems like some of you don’t craft your items. Replacing two wardrobe items could cost you a couple mil to purchase or even craft that perfect BIS. I guess maybe you could be one that buys gold so maybe also why you don’t care or think it’s not a big deal. Let’s also remember that if the PTR settings hold true, we will also have another huge weapon balance issue.

Ah a Tigers instinct enjoyer. Sry they nerfing your weapon but that hatchet was incredibly OP. 46% more damage to Light/Heavy attacks AND abilities (without effecting empower cap) while also applying what will be a 70% weapon damage DOT?

Deal +20% extra damage to any foe as long as you have not damaged them in the last 10s.
Deal +15% more damage to foes at least 10m away.
When you land a headshot, deal +20% more damage and have a 50% chance to get your arrow back.
Heavy attack arrows fly faster and deal +10% more damage.

total %152 more damage…
Posion DOT 12% weapon damage per second for 20 seconds…

Sir their are three MAJOR flaws with you logic that are simply Ignoring game mechanics.

1.) Vicious and Enchanted do NOT stack. One boosts crits, one boosts non-crit basic attacks. You attacks will never be boosted by BOTH perks. Which is not the case for Rogue and Vicious which can both be Proc’d simulations VERY easily.

2.) MANY of those bow passives you listed are Empowers. Which are capped at 50%…. Bow near constantly has a 40% empower, which means you only leave 10% room for additional empowers.

3.) As I’ve stated multiple times, The Laz Bow is and has been bugged since launch. The Vicious perk does not work. You are crying about an Enchanted/Keen bow….

It’s 2 perks out of 30 perks it’s not that big of a deal. Although I will say that right now these weapon perks seem to be OverPowered af. There will definitely be some weapon perks that will be a requirement in some builds. Here are the craziest ones that you can’t go without imo.

Note - The third number represents the percentage while equipped on the weapon. Also, Some perks do not list the prerequisites like “On Death” or “Under 50%” health but they are still there.

  • Repulsing Clearout: now has increased effectiveness (50…146…209%) while on a hammer.
  • Empowering Shooter Stance: now has an increased effectiveness (4…23…41%) while on a musket.
  • Crippling Powder Burn: now has an increased effectiveness (5…24…42%) while on a musket.
  • Penetrating Rapid Fire: now effects all rapid fire attacks and the armor penetration is increased while on a bow 5…19…33%
  • Sundering Riposte: now has increased rend while on a rapier 5…15…24%.
  • Refreshing Pillar of Fire: now has increased cooldown 3…14…25% while on a firestaff.
  • Refreshing Charge: If Unpredictable Strike hits it recharges 5…30…54% charge faster.
  • Crippling Reap: increased slow speed 5…31…50% while on a great axe. Also the duration increased from 2s to 4s.
  • Healing Tomb: Now heals for 5…18…30% of base health when Entomb ends.
  • Iced Refresh: has increased cooldown 20…77…100% while on an ice gauntlet.
  • Enfeebling Skewer: Increased the effectiveness of the weakness to 3…24…44%.
  • Fortifying Perforate: increased fortify 2…9.6…17% while on a spear.
  • Putrefying Scream: increased healing effectiveness 10…29…40% while on a void gauntlet also now lasts 8s instead of 10s.
  • Voracious Blade: increased healing effectiveness 10…31…51% while on a void gauntlet.

Oh yeah some of these will be tooooo good not to have but so much choice and you can only pick 1 for each weapon. It’s going to be a fun change.

The reason I use the Infected Throw skill in Hatchet is to create a debuff on the target.
In this way, I activated the MARK skill.

You didn’t factor in honing stones, Oblivion’s, 15% battle bread, Warhorns, gems, outpost buffs, Baron, thrust Dmg on rings, the dex boost from the attribute tree.

Do you really think because you hit high damage numbers on a fricking training dummy that it is comparable to actually combat? I can hit 11k on a training dummy using WarHammer (with buffs), does that mean it’s the most OP weapon?

All bow EMPOWERS (do you understand what’s and empower and what’s not) are essentially negated in War/OPR.
