Would be cool to see some kind of tank tree / caster dps tree for this. Just me fantasizing about smacking ppl around with my god of thunder build. =]
just put a lighting gem on your 2 handed hammer to add the lightning effect… then start smashing the ground causing shockwaves. That fits the theme pretty well. I doubt they will add a “lighting hammer” if they add any lighting/mage item it would probably be a staff variation. We still have so many other things we are missing like 1 handed mace, pistol, halberd.

I def see that side of it. Mainly just looking to live out that shaman fantasy without running around with a bigger than my character 2h. I guess lightning staff would seem a bit derivative to me, whereas a 1h hammer and a shield seems a bit more unique. Can’t wait to see what they cook up regardless tho
