New World AimBOT

hi everyone just wants to put in some input, I’m one of the top muskets in COS which is very competitive. I also live about 30 mins from the server so I got very good ping, my hit rate is about 60 to 90% depending on the day.
do I think some people use aimbots? yes, I do think some people do I recorded all my wars and oprs and if I catch someone being sus ill clip it and report it to the devs and I have seen the people get banned for it. I no longer see it that often now
for there more 99% of muskets are not aimbotting that 1% tho is bothersome but deff beatable I find they are overconfident, their shots are easy to eye frame and dodge though not to mention their positioning is trash and easy to counter.
if there is a build giving you trouble then play it learn it and figure out how to beat it.
last thing is musket is very underpowered in comparison to other build at best there might be one or 2 slots in a war for it, so the people who do play it are usually cracked with it with bis gear

Does it exist a Auto Dodge Cheat on New World, some time in OPR i am trying to hit someone with my firestaff light and heavy attack in the back of someone and he dodge all of them without knowing i am behind him !

There is a Cheater on Maramma called

Megal

! And no matter where you are trying to hide from him, he just run toward you and kill immedialty, he never check on the wrong side … using Musket and Spear

What ever you are crouch or lean down… he always come right at you ! behind a rock, a tent, a tree, he comes at you … i beleive many more player are going to use Wallhack in New World and that is so disapointed …

@Zyrex112 This your handiwork?

There are parts around OPR where the mesh’s collision isn’t fully working in which the projectile fired isn’t colliding. It’s not a “Wall Hack” It’s literal breaches in the level design that the level designers need to go back into & actually correct the issue.

FPS & Tactical FPS players alike, all know how to trace their shots. It doesn’t take an aimbot when most of the time players have since the dawn of shooters an incredible bad habit of walking and running in a straight line. Strafing is typically the common answer but against FPS players it’s more of a game of chicken. The loser though, is who makes the first move. In a lot of these anti-musket cases it’s really just a game of duck hunt since they all typically seem to be sporting glass builds.

Armour is damaged not broken. It has no effect on stats.

All your armor is in the red except pants. That’s not a good thing to be defending.

Technically doesn’t matter if not >>broken<<.

Who knew people would take a jab at the durability as seriously as the rabbit event.

I do think he s wallhacking to shoot you exactly at the right place behind the rock, you could be 1 cm beside and he will still shoot you… but you don t cheat so you don t see him all the time … that s how games work today… Cheater Won ! :frowning:

Nail in the coffin. That’s me

Also, @Wolfbuck I’ll let you see some of my gameplay so you can have a good reference of what exactly you’re going up against from his own POV  You should know, you’re not going up against a random average FPS player

While from @Wolfbuck 's gameplay perspective we can completely analyze his gameplay to that of your average Musket player. (And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with being average)

Certain FPS skills such as spotting, target acquisition and tracking were not found from his gameplay respectfully. Though his gameplay is proof that Musket does need some rework in cases where if player is not as skilled to make it work, it doesn’t look like its fun to use at all. It’s clear as day he was not having fun getting shot by me. We want players like Wolfbuck to be able to have better experience at playing Musket.

It doesn’t take wallhack to shoot someone that’s powder burned behind objects (damage ticks show their nameplates allowing you to see them behind objects)

Plus that rock is one of the very few spots where you can get shot through, I’ve had this happen to me several times myself and learned from that :stuck_out_tongue:

did you see the debuff on him ? i didn t let me watch it again !

1st time he got burned and killed
2nd time he got burned but he took off and then you kill him trough the rock without the Dewbuff on him !

To me you are a cheater ! EDIT : (he s not, just using high end computer above average players)

I think you aren’t paying attention enough

4:40 - 4:45 that poor guy just wanted out of spawn how could you, he got destroyed xD

Okay, now a lot of that video I saw a whole lot of LA. Technically if people weren’t so hellbent on getting kills could have used a Spearhead or Arrowhead formation to force you’re group out of their spawn point. Wait no, I talk as if people use formations in NW, silly me.

If there were as many “aimbots” as people claim, you wouldn’t be alive nor getting any of those kills because an aimbot would have 3 tapped you multiple times over. Players wouldn’t be scrambling out of the way.

They also bring up wall hack, but it’s literally a breach in the mesh collision. The same kind of collision you can find in many parts of the game where you can literally reach some insanely beautiful areas until you find a death collision randomly. Level designers need go back in and fix the collision itself. It’s that simple.

I just want to say that, Delos is a heavy-meta server, finding light targets is already as difficult. Wolfbuck just happens to be one of the very few guys I’ve found playing Light armor on that OPR so I constantly look for him. Otherwise why the hell would I want to play Musket to spend 40 minutes trying to kill heavy players that just won’t die because it takes 5-10 shots to kill them (and if they stick beside healers they just don’t die)

@Zentaragi If it helps, I was more than willing to provide my gameplay perspective through the videos from my yt channel so people can watch my full gameplay. I have vods there as well :grinning:

Same gameplay we probably will never see from the anti-musket players other than whatever YT they worship. I don’t doubt your musket ability. I run heavy, so I wouldn’t feel it anyway :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yeah and you don’t see me complaining NERF HEAVY! or BUFF MUSKET DAMAGE! anywhere, I just accept it for what it is, Musket works vs Light and Med (not as well vs Heavy)

Could use a rework but I’m not talking about direct damage buffs, more of a weapon kit redesign/rework make it more smooth to use so people at Wolfbuck’s level of skill can have a much more fun time using it. And I honestly don’t blame the guy for thinking he’s going up against aimbot when he gets hit with such deadly accuracy, I wouldn’t want to 1v1 myself personally I think I would just alt + f4 because of the level of effort needed to contest an equally as skilled Musket player is just not worth the time.

What are these prices though lmao shooting diamond bullets are we now…
