I mean – you get my meaning - he said devs so I said devs, but the point is the OP was saying that people in control of the game wanted to delay it just prior to launch, which is simply not true.

Outside the game, yep…total cesspool. This makes the days of 76 look like a regular love in.
Inside the game…at least on our server…pretty chill, friendly folk.
Why? They took our money while knowing the game isn’t even close to being ready. They should be praised for this? Come on man you are better than this

We haven’t actually got a clue what they are doing, because despite promising clearer communication, we have total radio silence despite horrible issues. It feels like if the NA servers had the same issues thing would be much different, but we are treated like second class citizens.
No communication, no confidence.
Considering the amount of issues, exploits, rollbacks and lack of communication on important things like our poor EU lads at the moment. The community has every right to be upset and honestly the community has been pretty tame regarding it as well.
Again i will remind lads, take a step away from the game both for your mental health and to show that this isn’t ok.
Man, you really believe it when some guy tells you “we are working hard on it, but it will take time”???
This is corporate PR speech that translates to: "Our guys are off over the long weekend, but we will try to make it work as early as possible next week. "
And seeing you are part of this community, you might be right with some parts of the headline.
This game brought about a special subset of horrible human being. Global chat is a dumpster fire of hatred, far worse than any other MMO I’ve ever played (yes, that includes Vanilla Barrens chat), and the forums are currently filled with people screeching with rage over the fact that a bunch of employees aren’t skipping out on seeing their families for the holiday so that they can fix their video game’s pretend money exchange. You hate to see it.
This may shock you, but they are not the same people…
It was released in a pretty good state.
Its just the all the changes made after release that weren’t tested long enough,

It’d definitely be appreciated if they’d thoroughly test changes, continue using the PTR more often and perhaps reduce patch and update frequency accordingly.
I mean, e.g. FFXIV’s 3 month content cycle really works well. Jagex in the past struggled with frequent, small patches riddled with issues as well. Once they started taking more time, things started improving.
What AGS needs to be able to do with that though, is start ignoring all the bitching and moaning on these forums for one. The constant crying over no update being given for a situation, even when it’s only a few hours old. No ETA being given for relatively new issues. It’s as if AGS right now is trying to push out quick fixes as soon as possible to try and satisfy the loudest and most obnoxious members of this community.

ONLY AGS management are to blame IF there was some kind of rushed deployment.

Imagine having work ethics that allows you to leave your product in absolute dumpsterfire, with near to zero communication, roadmap or damage control for your community and have audacity to go eat frozen turkey for week(s?).
Might be inside knowledge of the future of the project we don’t know about, might just be arrogance and inexperience.
Behavior of AGS since 1.1 went live is mostly what kept me from touching the game, though. I don’t want to play a game that’s supposed to last years with people like this behind the show.
The Fact is the release version had a lot lesser major bugs and isuess then the live version, they fixed one brought 34 new in each patch, and now the game is broken.
Look the into the Void update and the ptr test for it,but still the voidgauntlet crushes the servers,purge ur 500g buffood cancle healpools and hots y, very much hard work.
And release it with knowing the issues makes it even worser or harder to belive in this dev team.
They want to release to doge Myth of Empires, Mortal Online2, BF and the upcoming WoW Patch to take their profit out of the emptyness in the gamescene since WoW got dissmissed.
Since small Indi Team release better Beta versions and Early Accsess then AGS i dont belive they working hard.
Maybe they have not eneught ressources what sounds kinda wired for Amazon,
or the dont want,or they arent able because they have no skills in what they are doing.
With ever reason it is, it is a joke.
