I guess its my own fault for not even knowing about this watermark system until after i hit lvl 60. Even on the games website, i do not see it discussed. In fact:
Maybe they should have said “Success in an arena awards the possibility of raising your gearscore, and once you have done this a hundred times, you may also be rewarded with a legendary item.”
