I can see why in the lore we’re losing to the corrupted when you got musketeers and bow users being trained by parkour gods while freestyling trick-shotting us and well, we got larry and his cousin Phil teaching us how to stand and shoot.

i am playing on a server with less then 200 people in peak.
You totally missread my post.
its about the toxic behavior of this generation.
Cry, complain, cheat. copy/dupe.
And then cry they want the servers to be wiped.
I have putted in over 725 hours in this game and have near all trades at 200.
My server is empty. Companies left our server just when i used free transfer.
I dont cry, i dont complain and i never cheated…
Yet I see way to many people complain non stop in global chat AND forum.
If people played this game the normal way like i do then there wasnt such big problems.
I have never even tried to cheat and god knows how the fuck some1 discovers duping.
If every1 is entitled to have their opinion then why you complain about mine?

masteries didnt come to gw2 until their first expansion. I think people may have unrealistic expectations for a game that came out 5 weeks ago
Let me just firstly commend you for actually being honest and following the rules, with everything going on in NW your type of player are the ones that get shafted the most.
You can also understand why SO many people are complaining about it since AGS isn’t really doing anything about it…it really just gives the honest players an incentive to cheat because it devalues all of their achievements and sets them behind even though they have followed every rule and played by the guidelines.
I don’t know who you are referring to or how you could possibly know which “generation” these players are from…hackers/dishonest people have been around for as long as I can remember in pretty much almost all genres. The last generation shaped this one too soo thats something.
Unfortunately there are alot of dishonest people in the world and that is the exact reason the remainder of the player base is so jaded, it is up to the moderators (AGS) to fix these issues and so far they have been dragging their feet. They are angry because they like the game and want it to be fixed while the rest of the players have just silently quit.
My only issue with your entire statement is telling people to leave because its not productive and will lead this game further into “dying”, if we want this game to keep going we need to keep as many players as possible wherever we can regardless if they are complainers or not. You can use the ignore function as many times as you want but with a game like NW where much of the content is “player driven” we can’t afford to lose many more people…

Toxic behavior has nothing to do with hacking/cheating.
I have the opposite problem, the more I play this game the more I like it.
Here ^, imagine a new player coming onto here to give their honest feedback and sees things like this.
What causes these toxic behaviours and why are people complaining? A large portion of the player base are complaining about hackers/gold duping. There is about 7 or 8 threads just TODAY about hackers/dupers/bots.
Also I’d argue that hacking a game creates a very toxic environment especially for honest players like yourself. Something thats completely out of your control is ruining your gaming experience.
You farm 100+ hours to get a trade skill to 200 and billy dupes 100k gold and levels it to 200 in 1 hour.
I can totally agree with you when it comes to people complaining about no content/game boring/quests suck etc etc etc. Game is new so people need to give it time but when it comes to hacking/duping it can drive alot of players away.
see what I don’t get is why yall get so angry about it. If you buy something, and you don’t like it, or get bored of it. Why be angry? How many things have you tried in life and not enjoyed, does their existence make you angry?
its not like they ruined your favorite thing, the game is what it always was.
Because the game is totally broke from start to the end. And if you enjoy the game i suggest you to leave the forum. Go back to play, run and have fun.
the point of the OP was the game gets less fun, notbthat it was always garbage.
but let’s say it was, why be mad about it. It serves no purpose, changes nothing. There is tons of things each person doesnt like in the world, why get upset about it
I don’t think so. There were dozens of games they could have learned from, yet they deliver endgame that’s as basic as WoW Vanilla’s from 2005.
So you never played any of blizzards. games. I advicse you to try. Not the new blizzard’s games but the calssic ones. Sound is half of atmosphere there.
agree. NW is by far one of the better mmos out there right now. Ive noticed players hate’n on it are usually the ones so used to all the others games they’ve played. No ones willing to give it a shot and tend to forget all the head aches other mmos had (still have) and will always have. Im ok if they stop playong and move on. I for one will be here enjoying this game
You know, and I might blow some minds here, you can stop whenever you like. I know, it’s crazy, but hear me out. You can literally just stop playing at any time and find something you enjoy to fill your day with.
I have played lots of other games so while I compare it to some I know it is different, but it needs work and not just the bugs, This game seems very confused on what it wants to be and in truth is failing at both PvP and Pve in different ways.

I really think they didnt expect it to be the way it is. Game has shifted alot since alpha & beta. I keep playing to see what happens. No game will ever be perfect. all players will always be unhappy about one thing or another.
I don’t like lore at all and faction system. I believe that all players should work together to fight off monsters and invasions.
But I love graphics and no tab targeting fight. I just wish there was an additional skill (ultimate - loaded after a bit of fighting)
I honestly never even got to 60. I fell in love with this game, but by the time I got to 40 I realized how bad it was, all the cracks and flaws as you say. Devs who make stupid ass decisions like shutting off the player economy without compensation, devs who don’t even make comments on the 2 second respawn rates. The whole thing is a mess that is pretty much impossible to notice until you get to around 40.
