whats funny is I’ve pulled precision engineering tools, stacked deck, loaded dice and armoring tools back in the day when i used to grind more. GL to you though

I can surely say u won’t reach there by the current means u are taking perks change what’s bis will also. Change need money to keep up with the change or time which dosent differentiate people

Everyone starts from gathering then turns to refining where there is too much competition and usually dosent get enough gold to reach the crafting part but u can also get lucky and craft a bis item that’s luck
But if u want to force it u need money yes

Ok bro i think I’m a do it different way like y’all said but i spent nearly three day on grinding trophies mats to get nothing and took me a lot of time u know watching videos on YouTube and doing it lol
why do u need to drop it urself?
thousands of players do this and drop daily mats, it’s not meant to be there for everyone instantly and if u really need it, just buy it. cuz farming all mats by urself is gonna take forever…

- Something like the materia system like what was added for dungeons. Have an open world materia that you collect from chests so that if you spend hours but don’t get a trophy mat you want, you can spend materia to get exactly the trophy mat, crafting gear, legendary, etc. that you’ve been grinding to get.
- Some kind of visualization of the luck rolls, like the dice rolls in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands that shows the loot table selection outcome. At least then we could see how luck is affecting the outcome. Right now, the absence of any kind of in-game dynamic information on how luck is benefiting us makes the system frustrating.

1800 hours, and you can believe it or not. I’ve spent more time farming the pit boss in shattered (It’s my primary ori spot) than probably anyone else i know.
And i’ve never once gotten the corrupted totem.
I’ve seen other people get it, with no luck even. And i’ve been down there with full luck, mid luck and no luck. No dice.
Some of those could probably be tuned up a little i think. Just my observation.
Chopping trees and playing the TP prices may be legit ways of making money, but it feels weak and unrewarding to just buy BIS or trophies. In that case then just RMT some gold and pay to win.
It would be nice to earn them as a performance reward from actually playing the game. Top items should be a reward for and measure of skill and performance. Not hey, ‘look what i bought!’
The level of RNG sucks. This game is legit a slot machine.

i agree with some of what you’re saying, but you can play a different slot machine aka you can hunt for squirming vines or run mutator dungeons to find good pieces to sell them to make money etc etc.
the trophy mat slot machine just happens to be rough odds, which again, my personal opinion is fine, most crafters are funded by companies, which is how these slot machines get such a big pay out in the first place
