New World Lags itself out?!

New World will start using 100% of my bandwidth and lags itself out!
So normally I’d see decent performance everything’s fine, I can monitor my bandwidth usage via task manager and my ASUS router… the game will work fine normally, then the bandwith spikes to my max for an extended period of time and the game disconnects me because of lag THAT IT IS CAUSING … surely if you’re doing some background downloading or caching stuff you should limit it based on not lagging the main thread :confused:

It disconnects me and continues to use high bandwidth while a character isn’t logged into the game

Restart the game (not just relogin)

Login and don’t move for a bit … possibly use the auction house

any day anytime …

I’m sorry about the issue you’re having with the Lag detected and the disconnections while playing New World, I know this could be a frustrating issue, however allow me to provide you some tips that might help you, please review the following link:

Please make sure to add the DxDiag and Gamelogs through a sharing link from a Cloud Storage like Google Drive to the support report, you can pull it following this steps:

DxDiag report:

  • Go to Windows Start search bar and type dxdiag.
  • Click on dxdiag.exe.
  • When green progress bar goes away, select Save All Information and save the file to their desktop.

GameLogs:

  • Game logs can be found on: \Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\AGS\New World\CrashDB\reports\
