New World making my computer restart

After this new update my new world has been making my computer restart a lot, but after I use some of these solutions to try fix my new world sometimes they work and I get to play for the day and if i’m lucky the next day, however after using those solutions new world just goes back to restarting my computer. Help me please this is so annoying and its starting to piss me off.

I have a GTX 3080 and a AMD Ryzen 7 5800X @ 3.80Ghz 32GB RAM

Same here. 3080 ti, and my computer restarted out of nowhere while playing the game. Then after reboot, about 30 minutes into playing, the game just freezes and I have to end task it. I played for over 80 hours before the patch with no freezing whatsoever, so I’m thinking there was some type of code regression introduced in the most recent patch.

Hello Adventurers,

Im sorry for the issue you have. Please try the following. Close and relaunch the Steam client. Then go to Steam Support :: Verify Integrity of Game Files in order to Verify Integrity of Game Files. Then wait for 15 minutes and try to go back to the game.

Then please check the following:

  1. Crashing error usually happens on systems running older versions of Windows. Be sure to confirm that the system meets minimum requirements to run the game.
  2. Repair or install C++ redistributable (game uses 2015-2017 C++ files, found here: The latest supported Visual C++ downloads). It’s important that players either download the x86 or x64 file version, depending on their specific version of Windows.

The player can also attempt to use the SFC tool built into Windows: Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files.

Also check the following: Game keeps crashing? Try any of these steps!
