  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Every time I launch New World it takes me to a bugged screen, I am unable to proceed pass this screen no matter what I try.

  • Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug

  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: I can’t play.

  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No.

  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced:

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: I just launch the game.

Please help I’m just trying to play the game. Also sorry if this is a simple fix and I’m being stupid, but I’ve never had a problem like this before, and I can’t find anything online about it.

Thank you for posting your concern in here and thanks to @Centeotl for bringing you to the Support section!

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues trying to launch New World. Please follow these steps to troubleshoot your issue:

  1. End the New World task in the task manager.
  2. Win key + R
  3. Type %appdata%
  4. Go to AppData > Roaming > AGS > New World
  5. Delete the Savedata folder and the user_preload_settings.cfg file.
  6. Reboot the PC and you’ll see that the files deleted would be recreated.
  7. Verify integrity of the Steam Files
  8. Relaunch the game and check if you can access to New World properly.

If the issue persists, please contact our customer service in order to file a ticket on your behalf to have a deeper look into this matter.
