Hi! everytime I start the game I can play for 2-10min and then it causes my pc to hard lock all system usage goes to 0% both on CPU and HDD(SSD) and forces me to restart the pc, I have narrowed it down to NW due to it being the only software that causes the issue
I have ofc, allready done repair, check game integrity and all such things!

update video drivers , update windows , update directx or re-install it , and run a New world repair
on steam . on of those should fix it . also if you got an active firewall make sure to add Nw to exceptions
I’m sorry that New World is forcing you to restart your PC.
We can try deleting some files of New World, this will be our crash prevent troubleshoot. It will also work with most issues that are not crashes.
1- Win key + R
2- Type %appdata%
3- Go to AppData > Roaming > AGS > New World
4- Delete the Savedata folder and the user_preload_settings.cfg file.
5- Reboot the PC and you’ll see that the files deleted would be recreated.
Also, when you re-launch New World make sure to have graphic settings in low and fps capped at 60. If the game works you can start raising the settings to check the maximum where you can play without crashing.
