New World needs Capes (Cloaks ) 💡

Once again. This was obvious. And a tactical error by AGS to begin with. As far as I can remember most good MMOs have more equipment slots then New World, cape being one of them. Guild cloaks? Ya know…like Guild Wars 1 had.……one of the most successful MMO in the last 25 years? And the fact we don’t have 2 jewelry slots per item. Cause everyone’s running around with 1 earring right??? And where are belts? And 1 handed magical weapons with offhand items? Or dual wield melee? Or quiver for arrows? They went basic as hell with NW, no effort. Their answer for racial abilities that don’t exist in the game…heart rune. All we have gotten…is silly…OP heart runes…

There are some chestpieces that come with a cape visual, but AGS really needs to fix the clipping issue.

I just cashed into “The Winged Knight’s Breastplate” available through the “Damage Dealer Bundle” coming in at a 75,000 marks price tag…nothing short of 45€. The animations and the behaviour of the cloak’s model is absolutely aweful and a pain to look at. The players see this abomination of a clipping error 100% of the time. Just make sure to give players the option to turn them off if they are at all animated. They have been known to cause lag when there are too many on screen in other games.

It’s not just New world that needs cloaks, but the real world does too. When was the last time you saw someone walking down the street wearing a cape? XD

MAKE CLOAKS GREAT AGAIN, we need cloaks in the real world and in the New World!

I know that the game does not take place on the streets of New York in 2023. It’s a fantasy game, don’t be too hard on yourself, let people be what they want to be in the game
