New World Survey on Launch screen. Take the time to give your feedback on the state of the game.

My opinion at the end of the survey: This felt like a game by an underfunded indie company, without the innovation I would expect from that type of company. Most of the systems seem to be copied from other titles without an understanding of how they should work, or the focus needed to do any of them well.

With the announcement of Watermark changes they seem to understand the system wasn’t done well. But are going to spend two months fixing a launch system, like this is a beta, and claw back some players gear advancements. Spend two months of development time going backward instead of going forward.

they reduced your chances of increasing you HWM from 10% to 1%. They added orbs+ will each cost you 1k to craft for a very small boost. That’s 5k per day. Not every has that kind of gold.
i’m okay with the expertise change but they’re increasing to grind by 100000% they did the same to crafting and now to gear.

I really don’t understand the need to make us pay coin to craft something like this. They are already time gating us by limiting the amount or orbs we can craft. Makes no sense to charge us for it. There is so much gold sink in this game. Everything costs gold, everything costs Azoth. It wouldn’t be an issue if the population wasn’t 20 people per server.

How do I make money or Azoth when there’s nobody to play with?

Yeah I saw this as well. Definitely send it in someone will see it and they will make a graph showing how many people love their game. :rofl:

But really hope it does something in reality they don’t need a survey to point out the obvious. Look at these forums alone would be your survey.

They should remove the cost completely. There’s no need to pay for these orbs.

I sent in the survey, told guildies to send in. Doubt it will do anything.

Will wait and see, but we’re 80% sure all of us are done with NW. Was fun but the SK asian type end-game grind is not for us.

Your getting an item for the orb. Sure it may not be worth it at 500, but "if "you are getting a powerful GS600 item later on because you did 2 OPR. I don’t think it would be fair to just give it out for free.

that was something I was not aware of. I do not follow dev posts 24/7.
The rest is still accurate.
white knight it all you want. they’re screwing over everyone that didn’t farm HWM like they did to those that were leveling crafting casually.
