I have more than 1 k hours in the game and I decided to quit the game now. It has become a game where you only play the bow and the ridiculous weapon called the rapier. If all other weapons are removed, nothing will change in the game because everyone plays only bow and rapier. No need to waste time to trying new items and new combinations. All you have to do is take the shitty rapier in your hand, shake it left and right, escape and shoot arrows.
In the opr only thing you do is play bow nothing else, because you have no other chance to win and enjoy.
Anyway, the game was fun to play. I wish good luck to those who will play with their bows.

Was fine when it was all mages or all GA/WH. Now it’s mostly bows…

Its funny how ppl are quick to say there were mages everywhere.
The fact that ppl were paring Ice Gauntlett with GA, with BB, with musket, with hatchet, that does not make them mages! They didn’t even had int at all… they were abusing a broken abilty from IG.
There was never a mage meta.
They were dex / Str.
Since day 1 the dominant buitds have always been dex or str.
Actually there were LOTS running FS/IG pre nerf…and again after they buffed it.
When i say lots…i mean lots. I ran it myself…until everyone and their grandma was using it. Then I stopped…

GA too stronk. Needs 7th nerf. Also nerf hatchet.
Seriously, though, they need to find a way to nerf light armor, especially with rapier. Unless they want to continue the ranged meta that currently exists, anyway. Bonus damage, bonus healing, longer iframes along with separation created from dodging. Light armor rapier is basically why the meta is so tied around cc and root- you can’t do any damage as a melee without it. And if you do catch up to them and they burn their stamina down, they just Riposte and you can’t do anything without getting stunned until Riposte is over, at which point they can just Fleche away with full stamina (since it’s been regenerating since they started their Riposte).
They killed medium when they removed the weapon swap animation cancel. I remember all of the light users complaining about the ice skating coming out of the roll, but if you look around now all you ever see is light armor, because that’s what you need to have the damage to kill someone solo. Except in War and OPR, because those are point control games, and you can’t effectively hold a point in light armor.
