FFIV had an establish player base that followed the IPC. That playerbase was not happy with the first execution of the game and the company had the guts to remake it and change things completely.
In Eso something like that happend but the remake was in smaller extend. As the base issue was the combat and they remade it.
NW is no part of an establish IPC and have no establish player base. they are trying to get that.
There is no a player base they target to satisfy and thats the reason game missing a heavy identity and its trying to be a litle in the mix.
The race is more like a Marathon, a lot can go wrong in that race pre-launch and post launch.
Future patches and the direction of the game is crucial to get an identity and establish a core playerbase.
We will see how things will turn around.
well ye but so are many words that shouldnt be. they basically just gave in cos you cant make 450 million americans understand that they are spelling it wrong. if you ask any brit what he thinks of math, color, center and all the other words americans have butchered over the years you will get an entirely different response than from cambridge dictionary xd
i can imagine but i claim myself innocent on the matter as my language doesnt originate from the greek/latin strain so we dont rly have any words we share with you guys
WoW had some server issues due to the amount of players that went out and bought the game. It was totally unexpected at the time.
Within a month most people were enjoying the game as intended. It had nothing like the amount of problems that New World has. Not even close.
Blizzard also had the excuse of reinventing the wheel. New World is a copy and paste job. The two games are not even comparable in terms of innovation or content. New World has about 1/10 of the content WoW was released with. Anyone who thinks otherwise never played Wow back then or is just deluded.
Do you ever notice how many people you feel the need to insult because they show you are wrong? You own no one. You get exposed for what you are and you lash out. Its all you do.
You have done what in othEr MMOs? Made a fool of yourself on the forums? Not exactly a shocker there.
People tend to forget things over time or remember them incorrectly. Not to mention in 25 years of MMos things should have got better over time, but that has not happened.
Do people actually think anyone would be pissed off if New World succeeds? Maybe thatās why the white knighters get so offended. They think valid complaints about a game are some sort of personal attack or something.
Many of them do seem to believe that any complaint is an attack on them for loving the game and ignoring the flaws. There are also some who seem to think the dev team needs defenders and feel they should do it because the devs and mods do not.
Oddly enough when a whiteknight goes bad they usually become the worst offenders because they feel betrayed as if their defense of the game should give them special standing.
They are not working 12 hours a day to fix MY game, they are working 12 hours a day to keep their jobs becasue the game they made has so many issues. Stop pretending they do this for me or for you. They dont like you, know you or care about you beyond your wallet and its ability to support them. None of this is done out of the goodness of their hearts.
